The golf course that hosts the, wait, THE golf tourney of the year...The Masters...that is for the gents...finally has accepted some lady members...some 80 years after it's beginnings...and there is an underlying reason here...their money backers made it adamant...so it is said...whatever the reason, it is a good thing...Augusta National...

There is this ad in the Trib about a new golf ball that is proclaimed to be an anti-slice one...called the Polara...and it is banned by the USGA...3 different type of dimples...reduces slices by up to 70%...ha ha...

The line on MLB has every one of the home team favorites...except...the Padres, who are home team dogs to Pitt...SD won last night, 3-1...and listen to this kids...they own the Pirates...like 32-12 over the last 44 games...and we beat this same pitcher last week...so...reminds me of the "puffy shirt", but I don't want to be a pirate...

Did you see Roger Clemens is making a comeback in beisbol?...he's 50...and still throws it 88 mph...really?...shoot, Rosie just had a heart attack at the same age...he must be in awesome shape...

My headline yesterday, about the leap of death...originally said he had inoperable brain cancer...according to TMZ, the family says that is not true...more info yet to come...

Have you listened to the Wilson Phillips latest CD?...released about 3 months ago...it is real good...really good...

Here's a thing that most of you don't have to go through...we were having our carpets cleaned...the cleaner brought his machine through the front door of the lobby...a no no...he must go through the worker's back door...it's a ramp and a private entry to the service elevator...we have 4 elevators...it was booked, so he had to come back a few days later...you own your own home, and he does what YOU say...not here...we are but a piece of the 35 story building inhabitants...

Is there a more despicable set of ladies than that of the Housewives of New York City?

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
