It's a Good Thing

The GOP has sprung the latest curve ball at us..from absolutely NOWHERE comes their latest favorite...Rick Santorum...as he comes in a virtual tie with the ever so rich, Mitt Romney...in the Iowa Caucuses...and hang on to your New Hampshire Derby Cap...'cuz what your going to feel for the next week will be the onslaught of the Romney Money Train...this time towards the newbie...Santorum...
And, the pundits had a field day...as they were in unison in saying he couldn't keep it up...BECAUSE...he didn't have the money backing that Romney has and will use against him...isn't it a sad day that this side of the tix will probably be bought, not won...or, is that true?
Didn't it seem like there were as many press there as voters?...Geez, there were not many folks showing up and doing what they have an option to do...what was the final, like 121,000 total?...talk about a small sampling...but, with that being the case...Ronnie got what he usually does, about 21%...Newt, disgusted with the Romney negative train, at 13%...Perry, next, and went home to ponder his sanity, and last, your gurl Michele...who should do the same...at 5%...the highlight of the eve for me?...Fox carried a "live" interview with Sarah...as she showed just why she should never, ever, run for the Prez thing...hey, where's Mr. 999 in all of this?...how quickly they fall...
But I say this is a good thing...as the real Romney will surface as his train will show it's true colors...c'mon Rick, hang in there...

Disgusting...the Chargers decided to keep the GM and the Coach...it's a brutal game, this NFL...and the strong survive...geez, kind of sounds like the former, the political game...however...players who have left SD have said the diff between their new regime and the latter...is how tough the new one is...of course the players love Norv...he's soft...this team needs a no-nonsense boss...another year of mediocrity on the horizon...and we are going to have this same talk...one year from this date...mark it down...boo...

NBA...lost in the news today...and for sure down here...the Blazers beat the Thunder (SuperSonics) at Oklahoma City...and it wasn't anywhere to be found on the boob tube...with this condensed schedule, you really can't keep up with all the games...but...the Lakers were on...as they beat Houston...what a mess that team is...talking the Rockets...

Does this feel like a new year?
