Marsh surprised me with a mini-trip to Vegas...we stayed at the Mirage...beautiful spot...and I never left the complex...it was my 64th birthday...so we went to the Beatle's Love Show...so cool...if you haven't you must...the only draw back was that we drove...the last time we do that...5 1/2 hours...
For breakfast  at BB's... our waiter recognized me as a Duck fan...said he bet on 'em giving 14 1/2...I told him too much...then I go down and do the same...Oregon wins by 14 and I lose...I will not tell you who I bet on to break even...but I bet you can guess...
I must say thanks to all of you who spent time wishing me happy birthday...so nice of you...I've got the R 11 in my sights for my present...
By the way, the show did not have "When I'm 64"...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country.... Tonight, we hear another exceptional orator...President Bill Clinton ...it's almost like taking a class in college...Speech 101...BTW, I was turrible at it...just in case you were wondering......
