Dancing With The Stars

It wasn't that long ago that Mr. Peterman was working his groove out in the inaugural version of Dancing With The Stars...actually it was John O'Hurley...and it turned in to a smash hit for ABC...with a curious cast of judges that almost ruined what they had going...and, of course, there was a controversy in the outcome...as the winner was a soap opera star (forgot her name)...who's claim to fame was not only the winning, but her thinger popped out of her holder...there it is...the reason...I digress...it has now progressed to a must watch TV phenomena...and the pro dancers have become like famous...like wow...just so happens one of mine, is Cheryl Burke (it's my blog, I'll picture who I want)...if you are a follower, you are very aware of this fact...anyhoo...every season there seems to be a bit of wonder of why some or many of the "stars" are chosen...or if they are really stars at all...I'm a little scared of listing some, cuz there are those of you out there that say I'm too against politicians in my blurb....oops, kinda true...WELL...now the producers have put up a real contestant that stretches the list...Chaz Bono...you know, the child of Sonny Bono and Cher...who was born a girl...and now is a boy...I'm not getting into semantics...that some have problems with the fact that he is in it...what?  why?  why not?  I know they were real afraid of having 2 guys dance together a couple of seasons ago...wasn't it one of the In Sync guys?  So, the DWTS fans are going to have to figure this all out...hey, it all seems to work on Glee, doesn't it? 

Rah rah sis boom bah....the collegiate football begins this eve...our game is UNLV at Wisconsin...oops, probably not going to be pretty...just a tickler 'til Saturday's Duck/Tiger game...

Gee gads, the Pads get a night off...after getting swept by the Dodgers...what a mess...the Rockies come to town...featuring a brand new 3B...Kooz...he's their man now...well...I figure I'll miss the entire series...

Del Mar tomorrow, golf on Saturday, the Duck game Sat. nite, party at our place on Sunday (dinner type with 4 couples), golf on Labor Day, party at the Pinnacle following...whew...I better be good tonight...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
