Spy Caper

I can't make this up...there is this feller...who just happens to be a rich one...that has this little problem...one of his most fundamental parts of his little toy is broken...well, it's getting fixed...but he has to use the toy, anyway...NOW...so he has to find a temporary replacement part...that no one else has...so he secretly ends up in this little town in Mississippi, where this little part is known to exist...Hattiesburg...and the part is definitely used, NOT NEW...in fact, advertised as an antique...so...this feller doesn't want anyone to know that he is there...oops, he tweets he's there...blown cover!  This feller is none other than Baltimore Colt's owner, James Irsay...celebrated NFL boss...trying to find a gap quarterback for his recently worked on QB, Peyton Manning....so what's he doing is trying to get the legendary Brett Favre to to be this missing part...yup, it's true...

Wow, we lived through it!  I'm talking the fantabulous wedding of the fav Kardashian...Kim...and it was the gaga event of the year...anyone, who is anyone, was there...you know LiLo was there...and it is reported that with all the special picture taking contracts, that they actually MADE MONEY on the event...the stills brought tears to my eyes...

Continuing with my apparent sarcasm.... the Padres swept the inept Marlins of Florida...who by the way, move to Miami next year....and will be called the Miami Marlins (I think), with a new logo...so, maybe not Marlins...it was another teary eyed festivity, as SD honored their all time save leader, Trevor Hoffman...an hour long tribute, highlighted by the unveiling of his retired number 51...unfortunately for moi, I just saw him on his downslide...then go out and have the new save guy, Heath Bell, blow one...as Heath said after "only Trevor gets a save on his day"...OK...

Golf...another nobody I know wins...Webb Simpson...and Freddy wins in a playoff in the seniors...and Suzanne Peterson wins in another playoff in PDX...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
