And the analysts asked Sir Charles, "So who wins the UConn/Duke game?"...at halftime of the Arizona/Duke game...and he responded by saying, "it'll be next year on  the aircraft carrier, 'cuz  Arizona is going to win tonight's game..."  Do not dispute his prognostication...
My take on the SDS/UConn game...if you are a ref in these games, do everything you can to NOT call techs...the Aztecs got nailed with 2 of 'em...deflating 2 rallies...odd, curious, scandalous...especially the 2nd one, as Walker walked right in the elated rush of SDS at the time out and flopped...and if you are going to call a T on Leonard for the F bomb, then every time Kemba went towards his huddle he let a barrage of F bombs, tech him up...
BYU and Florida...for all the hype of Jimmer...he is the worst defender of all time for a "star"...his counterpart that he supposedly was shading had a career game, 'cuz he wasn't guarded...ole...

Idol...so the surprise of the season started early...Casey was the low vote getter and was saved by the judges...the reason?  He's the most versatile of all...he can play a boat load of instruments and will be great for the Idol Tour...stay tuned, as the voting this year will be full of gasping results...

Good Job, Sir Charles. Arizona has a habit of making deep tourney runs when no one expects them to. Then they usually don’t perform up to expectations in the seasons when they are expected to go deep in the tourney. This team reminds me of the ’97 team that caught everyone by surprise. I feel bad for UConn; I think they have no answer for Arizona’s talent.

I saw just a little of the Pac 10...Arizona was one that I saw...awesome win! This whole tourney is up for grabs.

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
