So the departure of Duke and Ohio St. scrambled up the tourney in a big way...as Kansas emerges as the public's last fav to win it...all others are the cool long shots...so here we go....
I had Kentucky over the Buckeyes...mostly 'cuz I thought very little of the Big 10...fun, exciting game...
VCU (who?) outlasting Florida St...and there is but one, count 'em, ONE, big east left after 11...pooh to the tourney committee...
Kansas in a rout over Richmond...soooo boring and the pickers lurved it...
UNC mashing Marquette...40-15 at half, OMG...go back to my beginning of the preview of the Big Dance...weird, high, lines on the Tar Heels...very curious...and here they are...who knew what? hmmm...

Florida ever Butler...the line is 3...won't be that close...I says it here...
UConn over Arizona...too much of Kemba...the refs turn a deaf ear to his shenanigans...another 3 point line...closer than the spread and it'll be Walker on a controversial call to win it...

Pro Hoops...what a fantastic finish to the Blazer/Spur game...getting picked twice in the last minute?  Does that happen anymore?
The Lakers over the Clips...your guy Fisher...the biggest flopper in the league...Kobe is something else...

My latest on the Padres...they open next week in St Louie...it looks like its Stauffer as Latos is down...the team has the 2nd highest batting average in the Cactus League...there is hope...

OK, I'm watching the Arnie tourney from Orlando...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
