Whew!

It wasn't the Blazers who broke the all time losing skid of the hapless Cavs...losers of 24 straight and 34 of their last 35...you know it's one thing to lose, but they are lifeless...ouch!  PDX had enough to escape with a win...

SDS with a very average beat down of TCU...lucky that their game was against the Horned Frogs...and what on earth are you doing USD?  Lead by 3 with a mere 2 seconds and you allow a 35 footer for a tie?  I always believe in a grab foul...and BYU bopped UNLV....I still think that the Rebs are better than their scores...

Not as much hype for the Sooper Bowl as in the past, right?  I am just moderately interested and think it's a toss-up...did pick GB by 3...but, could understand Big Ben doing something great the other way...

You watching the drunken fiasco on number 16 in the desert?  20 thousand inebriated foos at the Waste Management Open...yup, I can't make that up...the Sopranos are waiting as you exit the 18th green...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
