The Final Four


The cast is now set...the FINAL FOUR...for the D-1 Crown...the Natty Title...whatever you want to call it...as Notre Dame bested Georgia yesterday, for the final spot in the bracket...cool...and thus gave the bye sweep of the playoffs...the 4 with byes, all got beat...which begs the query of how this was set up...the committee sits in limbo for a couple of months, and still screw the whole thing up...

Yes, the Horse had Oregon vs Notre Dame in the champ game...1/2 right?...we shall see...Ohio St looms the heavy favorite in my book (I have a book?)...to beat Texas...and you got it...the Irish over the Nittany Lions...these games are next Thursday and Friday...

The terrorist stuff...radicalization...this must all be done online, right?...do they have meetings in person?...are there groups that regularly meet?...can't all be by the web net, I think...the guy in the Muskmobile...the police say he was a Green Beret...and loved trump...so, why?...more info needs to be dug out about this one...something is looking mighty fishy...

BTW, that whatever it is....is the worst looking rig in the history of...well, whatever it is...I guess in a league of it's own...man, that is really really ugh...

Well, the Horse is into naming the worst...the trump sway is number one...why on earth normal people copy that...I had trouble with the gator, back when...but, this one...good lord...

Speaking of that...the numbers that attend and support churches in the US...have gone way down...to the point of closing some...shuttering the doors...smaller towns, no...bigger ones, yes...it is often too easy to get lost in a metropolitan area...

As times move on...this is one thing I really miss...the breaking of a new song...via the 45 at one time...it was always something that was so catchy and fun to listen to...this doesn't happen?...the radio is now so different...I loved the actual disc, er vinyl, in my hands...to play over and over...same with the 33...which, as you know, I have a very solid collection...ie, NEW ONES!...

Mr Peepers has his day today...in the House...will he or won't he, get the votes to remain Speaker?...I think he will, but not by a lot...even some of the Repubs are leery of the orange...a good sign for us all...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
