If you put down all of the adjectives to describe the LA Fires, it may take an entire page to do so...the guess of how many homes, businesses, and livelihoods, that were torn away...to the ground...is pure speculation...no doubt, much higher than what many are saying...this has to be the worst set of fires on a city, since the 9 months of bombing of London, in WWII...the death total as of this am, is listed at 24...something tells me it is much greater...

Have you seen the list of 'stars' who lost their homes?...staggering number...not that their loss is any bigger or tougher on the common man or woman...it just tells us, that they too, have the sorrow...and tragedy to bear...

Here we go again...the Santa Ana's are about to wind back up...let's hope that the flames are down...please, Mother Nature, no more...

The 3 playoff games were pretty much as forecast...maybe not the Commandoskins one...did not see this game...hey, as a side note...did listen to Tom Terrific do the broadcast of Game #2...Pack at Eagles...I thought he was great...his commentary of what he would have done, and why...was different than any of the other blokes that do the same thing...

In this week of fun, in DC...Congress gets to ask questions, and vet the candidates for some of trump's appointees to his 'cabinet'...there are some doozies...the Demos will have a field day...but, the Repubs have the majority...unless, just a few of the elephants, reject the orange's demands...the foos will get passed...Hegseth, Gabbard, and RFK, Jr...will be on the hot seat...these 3 are beauts...

That is pure sarcasm, kids...unadulterated...

How about this for an ending...the Horse's preference for a burger...yes, kids, I am talking hamburgers...I grew up on cheeseburgers from a place called Bob's...8 to a lb ones...they are gone...now, I dig the small cheeseburgers at Mickey D's...same concept...and if I can stand the line, In N Out...one burger, not 2...and the huge ones...like quarter pounders, or even 1/3 pounders...not for me...too much...I am satisfied....mighty satisfied...with the smaller ones...'are you satisfied?...yes, I am...mighty satisfied...'...that's for all the cheerleaders out in Horse land...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
