Smack Talk


The elongated seasons of the pros...where the cats are getting huge monetary amounts for playing a game...let's talk the 3 I know the best...NFL, MLB, and the NBA...no rationale at all for any one player to earn $675 million bucks for playing a game...which leads me to talk about the owners...who make a monster amount of cash...charge a ridiculous price for a ticket to watch their team...$18 dollar beer?...that, too....the more games, the more $...there you go...the cats, who play...the worst culprits of them all?...the hoopsters, who take nites off...just off...the other 2 sports guys, do not...only if injured...in the NBA, you never know who will be on the floor...this after you purchase a couple of $300 tix...yes, kids...it's all about the money...

The simply awful predicament the college teams are in...the NIL...the payment of cash to the players...what education?...that allure is so far gone...listen to some of the pros speak...there's no way they went to college...ah, classes...no way...lost for sure, is the way the college coaches charm their way to get a player to go to his school...if the 'star' doesn't play right away, he transfers...gets cash...what does the governing body do about it?...nuttin honey...the NCAA is a full fledged farce...with so little influence that it is a joke...the colleges need to regroup and form a real censuring board...hey, like they do for the BSBCS playoffs...get some teeth in the system...again...might be real hard, as the model to follow in the political arena is in a full fledged salmagundi...am I right or am I right?...

So, the fans decide it is the right time to enjoy a beverage watching the games...all of them...according to the National Board of Over drinking...something like that...means the same...listing the states that do it the most...New Hampshire won (lost?)...the Ducks, well, and the Beavers...OK, the Blazers, too...came in #14...Cali was weird, like #30...guess who was last...er, the best?...yup, the Mormon state...Utah...ah, Lenny, pass me some of that bottle water...I am pumped up...

The killer was caught...at a Mickey D's...it was inevitable I reckon...he seemed like a decent fellow...26 and went to quality schools...something must not connect in that head of his...

Another example of 'Stand By Your Man'...the much maligned Kari Lake of 'Zona...even with orange's blessing, couldn't win in her state...a nasty woman, to borrow trump's jargon...well, she is gonna get a job thru the bloke...as ambassador to Mexico...well, there goes any diplomacy we have with them...

Must say, the once darling of the NFL...the Dallas Cowboys are simply dreadful...guess they are playing for the #1 draft for next season...money doesn't always talk...ha ha, just wait for the Mets next season...there will be booze for everyone...didn't say that right...booooooo's for everyone...

As per usual, I have no idear about Syria...the dictator is gone...so, who runs the country?...and how?...plus, Israel is bombing key sites there...what is that all about?...you see the mansion he left behind?...his tunnels...you  know, just in case...all his rich vehicles?...how many?...I saw about 8...probably more...nothing like being the grand poopah, until you are not...

Breaking...fire!...by Malibu...close to Pepperdine U...last time we went that way, the winds were outta control...the Santa Anna's?...probably again...which makes the quelling of it, nearly impossible...watch the Natty news for info on the fire...

I think we are staying put for awhile...fingers crossed...

This is one more strike on the Horse...when I heard the game 'corn hole', I thought it was a joke...and there was a different meaning to it...ah, yes, it was not what I was thinking...shoot, I thought that game was horse shoes...

The book I got 'The Real Odessa'...oh my...Argentina was wrapped up into the Hitler thing...big time...not sure we knew how much back then...the Nazis were very close to establishing a center in the South American zone...luckily, Hitler was too enamored with conquering Russia...names that the book has, gives me chills....how about this one...Peron...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
