Hitless


Geez, that sounds like me softball game prowess...HITLESS!...good field, no hits...but, I am referring to the songs we all listen to...where on earth are the HITS?...you know, the ones that we can hum to...I can't recall a year like this...there are none...in fact, if you go to a concert, you are watching someone, or some group, doing there HITS of the past...perhaps, there are big ones in the dance halls...wait, is that what they are called?...clubs, there you go...speak easies?...good thumping music...but, HITS?...nope, remade ones that have been changed so you can do whatever they do on the dance floor...now...

Speaking of hits, and misses...the plight of the lineup of the Friars...is a mystery...it's pretty obvious we are not paying big bucks to anyone...and this deferring millions of dollars to players (see P Blake Snell) is out of our league...well, out of any team's league, but the Bums and Damn Yankees...which get the best players and we, the rest of MLB, scramble for the remaining dudes...hey, they are just human...what's the diff from a $600 million bloke and one who is just a $20 million buck guy?...one can judge that by looking at the Padre lineup on opening day...and compare that to the Bum's...

The line has been steady at 3 1/2 for the Ducks over the Nittany Lions...still confuses moi...there must be something in the water...I don't get it...tomorrow is the kick off from Indy...which is crazy in itself...whoever has the best record, should host...done...period...

Bellychick to the college ranks?...UNC?...no way...hang on Billy, the NFL will call you back, soon...da Bears?...

The hunt is on for that killer of the CEO in Manhattan...looks like a hitman, to me...as he came in to town...did his deed, and now...vanished...they say he bussed in from Atlanta...kind of has an earmark of what happened to MLK, back in my times of College....

The NFL game last eve was a wild one...a goodun...and that Lion coach is a river boat gambler...going for a 4th down in the last minute, rather than kick a FG...to save clock...wow...as Detroit won and is the best in the NFC...

Gotta run...get ready for the train....

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
