This will be a rather irresolute post today....as my mind wants one thing, and the reality is that it won't occur...regardless of whomever won the presidential election...the Call for Unity...just won't eventuate...it has been 60 years since we have had this dilemma in our country...it just won't happen...listen, kids either way...and there are but 2 ways...
We are about to embark on the most vicious cycle of leadership...well, in my lifetime...is there to be a hush of journalism?...might the 'land of the free' become a telling who is what, and who isn't?...might there be a true attack on those who defy the leader?...or, said bad things about him in the election process?...will the upper, the elite money makers of the country, get their promised breaks on taxes?...who, then pays the bulk?...the joke is on the forevers, as they who voted for him, shall increase their tax load...is this going to become an abortion free nation...regardless of state wants?...if the House does end up being red...then this leader goes unchecked...totally unbridled...
In my mighty Carnac crystal ball...Carnac the magnificent...I see upheaval...yes...do I want that?...no...I foresee the military balk at his commands...the streets will increase in the agitation that this guy says to the people...sarcastically, I throw this out...he is not a drinker....so why not go the route of the 1920's?...prohibition?...I dread this...Putin goes unchecked now into Ukraine....and Bibi gets all the ammo he wants in Israel...the vote to stop this?...ha ha...it's all red, kids...no stoppage of what the leader wants...
Perhaps, the most degrading thing that probably will materialize?...the roundup of all trump's 'illegals'...and put into holding tanks 'rez's'...in preparation of the ultimate deportation that any country...IN THE WORLD...has ever witnessed...his 'there is no price tag' on this action is reprehensible...the eyes of the WORLD will be on this process...I have wondered, often, just where are these people to be sent to?...something tells me, to get even with the California vote...he will set the holding sites (rez's) somewhere in Cali...maybe all over the state...just a thought...does this not seem similar to what the Gestapo did to the Jewish people in Germany?...'knock knock knock' on the door...

How about those football games!...my, this is just 180* from the mood I had above...right?...Miami and Georgia got the boot...cool...LSU got hammered at home to 'Bama...BYU, got the gift of the hankie against Utah...and the Ducks...got a real test from Maryland...whose defensive front, hurried the Ducks along...the score a tad bit misleading, 39-18...I think the Vegas boys (girls) knew that Maryland had a very tuff front line...anyhoo, a win and UO marches on...when you are #1, you get the best shot from everyone...
The day at the races was fun, albeit cold in the shade...which is where our table was...71* in the sun...like 55* in the wight of the stadium...so, the Boss and I set out for wraps...as we didn't carry any...we were stoooopid...well, after the purchases we could manage the seats...won a bit, but not the big day one dreams of...I think Roz and Rich had a great time at a place they had never visited before...the beautiful Del Mar Race Track...yes, it is a gorgeous setting...
Well, at least Kari Lake got beat in 'Zona...for Senator...one win for the good people of that state...
