Silence is Golden


Ah, the Tremeloes...no better commentary about just what happened 'Silence is Golden'...as the masses have spoken...both in the Electoral College and the Popular Vote...I knew it would be close, but did not see the demise of the Democrats...that big...in fact, I don't think VP Kamala outdid Biden in ANY state!...of the previous election...and trump ran the same amount of backers...

Kamala was down about 14 million votes, than who voted for Biden...trump had the same...thus, he had his same voters...she did not...why?...heard this too often, 'I don't like either of them, so won't vote'...it happened way too often...obviously...is it that she is a woman?...much the same as Hillary?...might that be the dilemma?...I dunno...

The reasoning will be debated for months...regardless, trump has rewritten the books...only one other time in the history of the country, has a president regained his power, after being ousted...so here we go...it is what it is...

The so called checks and balances may be a thing of the past, too...as the Republicans won the Senate, and the House?...to be determined...throw in the Supreme Court favoring the orange...well, you know he now can be the Grand Poo Pah, that he so desired...thank you, you pathetic non-voting Democrats...you get what YOU deserve...ahem, then we are all at the mercy...of...

Snooki said it best...we are elders, and now...it is up to the younger generation of Americans, to right this ship...well, words to that effect...and yes, trump is an elder, too... can he last another 4 years?...

So, we wait and see what he really is going to do...with the promises he made in the election process...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
