Shout, Shout, Knock Yourself Out


The culmination of such a long election process is finally...yes, finally, coming to a conclusion...hopefully...as we do our due diligence...VOTE...and tally...the winner is?...we shall see in a few days...as per usual, I have no clue...as to the outcome...I, like you, will watch the tele, and Steve Kornacki go thru his gyrations as to what is happening all over the USA map...changes?...two...have a voting day, where there is no work...and, all polls close at the very same time...

Shout, shout, knock yourself out!...

How about them Ducks!...went into the Big House in Ann Arbor...and whupped the Wolverines...who were better than I thought they would be...UO now is 9-0 and still has a bit to go, to get better...2nd half play calling, is a big question mark...the brass uses more running, than passing...and it makes the faithful very nervous...well, me... 

Some upsets...the list of fallen ones...ie, Texas A&M, Penn St (that coach is on the very hot seat), Iowa St, Pitt, and Clemson...and oh my, talk about a hot seat...the dude at USC, as the Dawgs of Washington knocked them off...

News of another shark attack in Maui...on the other side of Kaanapali, where we usually stay...them sharks usually win...

On our Costco trip...I found only 6 bottles of their Kirkland Bourbon....this is great stuff, kids...and flies off the shelves, as fast as they bring them out...much like their barbecued chickens...ah, I bought 2 of the 6...

The date nite was great...Morton's does have the very best pork chop...not kiddin you....a must try, if you have a Morton's close by...

Is this a preview?...Kamala leads donny in Iowa...a state that he won the last 2 times he ran...hmmm...

I did fair ok with the Breeder's Cup...total was up +$70...so hard to pick...as all the horses in each race COULD win...

It's Sunday, and you know it...Monster Sudoku time...still trying for #51...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
