Voting...didn't we just go through with this?...ah, no...the ROY of the NL...rookie of the year...went to the P of the Pitt Pirates...deserved...as was the 2nd place, the CF of the Friars, 21 yr old Jackson Merrill...could have gone either way, in my book...wait, do I have a book?...too bad, it wasn't a tie...

We did finish the 'Dark Winds'...rumor has it there is a season 3 in the works...hope so, it was a dandy...Netflix...and just started the new season of 'Bad Sisters'....this is on Apple TV+...you will need CC for this one...otherwise you will have no idea what they are saying...well, unless you are from that part of the world...

Oh yea, and just finished another one, 'Bad Football'...on most every week out of Dallas, Texas...17 weeks of this series...

Read a teaser for the upcoming 'Cher' memoirs...what a life...from the get go...and we had no idea to how brutal her marriage to Sonny was...yes, we just liked the songs...and their stage chemistry...behind the scene, much much different...it is an amazing tale...

The only thing I dislike about golf...is slow play...and we had it yesterday...stopped after 9...it was going to be a 6 hour round...no kidding...

OK, on the docket for the rest of the week...a quick RV trip with Cosmo...then off to Palm Springs for a stay...and meet up with friends...and then...the LeAnn Rimes concert....shall be fun...not sure how much I am going to write...maybe, this is called a vacay...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
