It could drive you to drinkin'...in this Hot Rod Lincoln...yea, whatever...this damn election...3 days and then...we elate or not...just hope you have either sent your ballot in, or get out to your polling place...and VOTE!...blue, hopefully...I for one, can't stand to hear that buffoon speak anymore...his voice is so gnarly, it grates on me...no foolin'...that bad...

Mi amigos...we don't talk about it...as we have differences in the party system...however, none of the guys who are on the other side, think a damn of trump...they hate him, too...interesting...but won't vote for Harris, either...you do know, it is a secret ballot...as my mother always told me...

Just for kicks, I am going to take you back to my childhood...memories...that will last my lifetime...we lived out at Chemawa Indian School (outside of Salem, Oregon)...in housing that was there for the employees...terrific houses, and neighborhood...both my parents worked at the school...I loved the basketball that the kids played there...coached by my good buddy, JB's, dad, Ed Bartlett...we, ie, my parents and everyone in the hood, called him 'Coach'...everyone else, had a name, but his was 'Coach'...he made some mighty impressive teams out of Navajo and Montana Natives...so fun to watch...I can recall going to games...where the band leader, Vince Matt, would lead the Injun Band to great songs...and man, I tell ya...talk about home court advantage...there were rafters that were above the playing court...and the Natives would hoop and holler for the team...them white eyes must have just feared and hated playing there...Eddie Belin, Stanley Armboy, stood out...there were many others...

The Ducks are in Michigan at noon...kickoff...this be a REAL TEST for the number 1 team in the Nation...stand up and be counted...geez, I made it sound like an election...and Ohio St vs Penn St....where both coaches have a knack for losing big games...one of them will survive, today...probably his job, too...

Not exactly sure what is going on in the WNBA....with 7 out of 12 head coaches getting fired...something is amiss...they should fire an equal amount of the refs they had last season...I do know that...

The 3rd season of 'Lincoln Lawyer' is a beaut...Netflix...if you have yet to watch....start with the 1st season...

The NBA is off and running after the 1st week...surprise?...the Nuggets are floundering...as are the Bucks...hmmm...no worries, 77 games to go...ha ha...too long a season, kids...

You recall the phrase when the Horse was coaching?...'live by the 3, die by the 3'...well, kids, that is the NBA now...everyone hucks up the 3 ball...all 5 blokes...they play 5 out...dribble drive and expect the D to help...and kick it out to a bloke sitting on the outside...the 3 point line...launch!...boooooooooo!!!...

Drum roll please...the results of our twin shots...in each arm...I was sore, but fine...not so good for Boss...she was achey, felt like throwing up, head ache, and dead tired...in her 2nd day...so, depends on who gets it...but still...enough shots for me...for a year...no mas...

Finally, it is date night...Boss woke up this morning feeling fine...we are going to Morton's...they are offering a super din din for $59...ah, add the drinks and wine...well, you know where this is heading...ah, Mister Bartender...'Make Mine a Double'...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
