Fight Sham

One of the most brutal sports that we have...boxing...took a turn yesterday...er, way late last nite...that MMA thing is worse...I think...when we watch the sports, we have so much concern over head injuries...ah, concussions...well, not so much in those two sports...as the goal is to pound on the heads, I reckon...there is no tent to take a possible concussed person to...

Yet, we the people, find it interesting to watch...as long as we are not participating...ha ha...in my time, Cassius Clay, then renamed Muhammad Ali, was the patron saint of the sport...the heavyweight champion of the World...!...have no idea about MMA, then or now...not of interest to the Horse...

The fight sham...this reintroduction of Iron Mike...er, Mike Tyson to the boxing world...hmmm, as he was facing an internet sensation in Jake Paul...lordy...Tyson is 58, and Paul is 27...right away one has doubts as to the credibility of the match...but, still...so many former boxing gurus had Tyson winning...not the bettors, tho...yes, it carried interest...especially FREE on Netflix...

The broadcast was afoul...as Netflix was not ready to do this live event...the picture froze much too often...the commentators were merely a joke...I must say that the prelim main event was a doozy...if you like watching two ladies maul each other...I don't...kind of set up the 'main event'...so, we thought...

It was a show of shadow boxing...it was evident early on, that the aged Tyson would be knocked silly, if Paul wanted to...yet, he carried him the full 8, 2 minute rounds...they both get their pay stubs, Paul at $40 million and Tyson at $20 million...yup, there were boos from the 70,000 at the Jerry Jones stadium in Arlington, Texas...we all got had...why was Mike biting on his gloves for many of the last rounds?...weird stuff, kids...hope you didn't bet on this sham...

Oh, yea, your guy trump, likes MMA...

The Huskies beat the Bruins...got to see a lot of this, cuz of the delayed bloody boxing spectacle...and bloody, it was not...except in the gal's prelim...each team has a new HC, and it shows...too early to see their direction...

The stooooopid NBA has a tournament within the season...ah, to drum up interest...the Lakers won this last year...maybe if they didn't play 82 regular season games, they wouldn't need such...do I dare say it?...another sham...

We have a series on Netflix...they do these well...not like their boxing fiasco...'Dark Winds'...about the Navajo Rez...we like it...hey now now...

The Ducks are flying high in Wisconsin....kick off at 4:30 pm on NBC...GO DUCKS!...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
