Can't Take My Eyes Off of You


Hey, I am talking the SNOWY NFL game last nite on the telly...too bad you had to have access to Prime Video...but, we do...and I did...absolutely LURVED it...as the pundits lost again...all of them, like the Around the Horn foos, and the 'Experts' on the ESPN NFL Show, and all the way down to the last 2 standing...(sorry, Denver's Woody Paige)...Wilbon and Kornheiser...they ALL had Pitt winning...even tho, the Steelers have big history of losing on Thursday nite games...which that happened again...as the lowly Cleveland Browns proved to be snowmen...and upset the highly ranked Pitt bosses...it was fun fun fun...

180* here...as we venture east to the desert for the weekend...and see some old, well, very old, amigos...and go to a LeeAnn Rimes Concert, to boot...speaking of boots, the CMA's are a piece...love Brooks&Dunn, but they won...and haven't produced a record in years...WTH?...they don't even have Carrie mentioned anywhere...there is a thing in me, that says we need something that honors REAL COUNTRY music and their stars...not all the latest crap out there...

Your guy trump, lost his 1st pick for AG...Gaetz thought more about it....and dropped out...you know, even if he didn't have all his skeletons...he still wouldn't get affirmed...as his fellow Congressionals HATE the bloke...so, within 6 hours...SIX!...donny picked another...Pam Bondi...another loyal trumpite...a tru red Maga...for the spot in his cabinet...'do as I say, not as I do'...'where's the catsup?'...

The wifi extender I bought...is a success, kids...plugged it in halfway from the boudoir and the original source...and voila!...it is what it said it would be...trust the Horse and his reviews... 

I know I won't write until we get back...late Sunday...so, my plug for the Ohio St/Indiana game is this...will the real final 4 team stand up?...wouldn't it be nice if Army beat Notre Dame?...loooong shot, but hey, that's why they play the games...wonder who 1st said that?...

Putin said that the missile he fired to Ukraine, was but a warning shot...it's weird, but the countries in that part of the world...do that...I'm still waiting for Israel to shoot something at Iran...you know, another 'warning'...

Where has been JD Vance been hiding out?...he hasn't been with the trump entourage...trump's newest posse have been trailing the beast like a bunch of hound dogs...everywhere...his 2 kids, by another mother, RFK Jr, Tulsi, Elon, Hootenanny, Kid Rock and lil Mike Johnson...'yes sir, no sir'...'Big Macs for everyone!'...

BTW, have you been noticing that the popular vote is getting mighty close after all...as the late counting continues on...ah, the mail in ones...perhaps, they should count those as they come in...

Must talk about the camping a bit more...we did the dogs on a stick thang...way cool...I call it 'America!'...we did America...and the people next door sent over some 'Sweet Potato Pie'...OMG, so outlandishly good...but, on our way out...stopped at Jack in the Box for a breakfast sandwich...the worst ever...another Horse review...do NOT go there...at least, for that...

More pundit crap...'they' have been raving over the current LA Laker team...on a 6 game win streak...and would whomp the Orlando Magic in LaLa Land...yes, of course, the Magic beat 'em...watched some of this, and must say...Orlando has a bunch of youngins...team of the future?...

Time to pack, I reckon...should I take my cowboy hat?...I like to call it my injun hat...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
