A Day at the Races


What a perfect day, to get out to the races...HORSE races, kids...Del Mar is calling our names...as we join Roz and Rich, for a grand time...trying to handicap them hosses...WIN some moolah...you know, feel like how them republicans just did a few days ago...I digress...

This eerie feeling I have for the upcoming regime...the worst?...the deportation of worker bees...how he manages this, I fear will be horrific...man, I hope I am wrong...but the talk is not good...can he actually hire a cabinet that will stand up to the guy?...I dunno...

Just for kicks, I saved a printout of the cost of groceries...now...and will inspect the same, in a year...let's see how they compare...yes, I think many people judged their vote, on this single issue...hey, and the House has yet to confirm the members?...how long does that take?...some really close elections...

I haven't seen one, not ONE, Maga complain about the voting system this time...must have fixed all the machines...and the tally people must all be legit...this time...funny how that is...yet, I still can't believe 14 million democrats refused to vote...yes, I have driven this into the ground...but, still...

Wouldn't it be rad....if Biden stepped down early...and Kamala took over...and sped up the court cases on trump...before January...

The Ducks host Maryland...odd numbers for the game...23 1/2...wasn't that the same for the ranked Illinois?...what do the Vegas boys (girls?) know?...kick off at 4...on the Big 10 network...how many teams are in the Big 10?...more than 10, that's for sure...18...Big 18?...why not call it what it is?...

I tried, I really did...watch some pro hoops at about 4 yesterday...oh lord...can't do it...they all ran 5 out...dribble drive...huck up an ungodly amount of 3 balls...it truly is a disaster...the game has gone to pot...for some depraved part of my mind, I have the pro hoops deal...so, I can watch the Warriors anytime...thing is, they run the 5 out, too...they all do...so, these coaches get paid to coach this way?...YMCA...hells bells...and there are like 8 coaches on the bench...what on earth do they all do?...

SDSU football...lost again last eve...this transitional period has been bad...new coach, and all...to New Mexico?...geez...oh my...get out and recruit, lad...

Let's see I have used....rad, bad, lad...it's a first for moi...sad?...not yet...dad?...nope...fad?...egads...mad?...yes, I am...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
