A Blackout


Here at the home, we are going thru a 'much needed' BLACKOUT!...not sure, who needs it...but, they are cutting the electricity to the entire building for one hour....starting promptly at 6 am...well, it's 6:06 and we still gots power...so much for exact timing...sometimes, I wonder...has it been canceled?...who the heck knows...I do know we have to get out of here, to roust out Cosmo...and hit the pavement...

The BSBCS, ah, that's what they were called...now name the top 12 teams projected to be in the playoffs for college football...all you cats know that...Oregon is still #1, and has a bye in the 1st round...Ohio St is #5, behind Miami...give me a break...Miami plays fluff and fanny...as does Notre Dame...geez, the committee must be all Magas...ah, not all, but the majority...

Your guy trump, appointed a former WWE person to head the Department of Education...seems about right...and he also tabbed Dr Oz, to be the overseer of Medicare and Medicaid...ew, there goes that system...who's left?...Boebert, MTG, Lindsey, Rudy, and Kid Rock...oh yeah, and Dr Phil...

To keep you going on the TV series thangs...the Apple TV+ one...'Bad Sisters' is a must...new season...if new to you, watch season 1 first...

My greatest fears....that Russia will invade Ukraine...now that trump has taken the reins...sure enough, the embassy....the USA Embassy, has been evacuated in Kyiv...in response to intelligence that the attack is imminent...

OK, the last nite's games in the NBA...were the 'in season tournament' counters...goofy....real goofy...JCC...

You heard of a 'bomb cyclone?'...it's the high wind and rain (snow, too) phenomena...projected to hit the PNW...yesterday and today...have yet to hear of the damage...and if it really hit...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
