Smoke in the Air


We awakened to smoke in the air...as our bedroom window was open...this doesn't happen often in south SoCal...not sure where ground zero is, but it is definitely close by...

Imagine, what it's like in Iran right now...severe smoke...as Israel did in fact begin it's bombardment of that country...in retaliation...Iran termed it 'weak'...I reckon that will trigger a much bigger surge, very very soon...yes, I thought that Israel would wait until our election was done...the Horse was wrong...

In a battle of speeches...Kamala had the help of Beyonce at a humongous Texas rally...of course, this will tick off Bozo...the size of it...and trump spent 3 hours taping a Joe Rogan podcast...you know, I have never ever listened to a podcast of anyone...hmmm, what am I missing?...can you envisage a 3 hour talk by trump?...has to be the most boring thing, ever...well, Hitler did it often...then, he scrambled (?)...ah moseyed on over to his revival, some 3 hours tardy....we would give a prof 10 minutes, then skedaddle...a Dr, 15, then off we'd go...unwritten rule in my collegiate days...he arrived, then played 'Ava Maria', as the now thinned out crowd, waited for his babble...he swayed with the music...oh yes, he was in Michigan...

How about World Series game 1!!!....OT, and one of the 3 studs of LA, Freddie Freeman, ended it with a grand salammy...hey, how about the ploy by Mgr Roberts of the Bums, walking Soto to pitch to the Judge...ballsy...and accurate...fun game, and looking forward to number 2...5:08 pm...

Boise St did hang on to beat UNLV, 29-24...but my oh my, the Rebels are sooooo much better than they have been in decades...today, some beauts...my green eyes are on the Illinois/Oregon game...12:30...Wash at Indiana...9 am...and Notre Dame at Navy, also at 9...

My golfing amigo, G...takes his turn at Costco, about every 2 weeks...goes early...and one of his things...getting one of them scrumptious Costco chickens...he stared in amazement at a dude who loaded up 2 baskets ahead of him...some 40 of those chicks...cleaned out the stand...no limit?...as others just like G, awaited the next batch...assuming the arsehole moved on...took only a couple of minutes and a new set came out....but, what the heck?...

Now it's only been 2 games...but, Golden St is still racking up big numbers...and PDX found a way to lose again...the Lake Show is better than I reckoned...beating a more talented Sun squad...ah hem, 80 games to go, so don't get too excited, or too depressed...Blazer fans, go ahead, you can...

My ad for the week...a new to me bourbon...that is a great mixer with Diet Coke...Samuel Grant...Kentucky made...you purists who like only the straight shot, or on the rocks...I dunno...but, with the DC, damn good...try it...go on, try it...

So, let me know what this mean...rabid MAGA Musk...admits he communicates with Putin...what on earth for?...I got a feelin' I know...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ...
