As we are approaching the E Day....the republicans proudly put forth their guy, trump...alas, his stupidity is ramping up...even more...actually talking to his revival people, about, get this...Arnold Palmer and his girth...really...what part of the campaign is this a part of for the republican ticket?...be proud, you elephants...then, he goes elsewhere and starts calling VP Kamala Harris "a shit vice president, get rid of her...she's fired"...stooping to the lowest of low, standards of speech...imagine taking a Speech 101 and get that as a training method...you would flunk the course...

Lately, he has gone without words for a period of time...on stage...forgetting what he was talking about...nodding off at times, too...yes, I am speaking to you, you forevers...you MAGAs...this is your fine representative...

On the other hand, VP Harris is EVERYWHERE...talking about what she will do as President...what needs to be done...in many cases, continuing on...BTW, how is your Stock Market money doing?...right, flourishing like never before...the promise of helping small businesses start up and survive...does she name call her opponent?...nope...should she?...doesn't need to...his brazen lip smacking rhetoric, is sufficient for all of us sane people...to disdain and disparage the creep...keep talking donny...keep talking...wonder who his 'speech' writer is...

Some more examples of parity in the college football....as #1 Texas got rocked by Georgia...which should mean the new #1 is that team from the PNW, THE OREGON DUCKS!...USC lost again, this time to Maryland...really...Tennessee upset 'Bama for the 1st time in ages...somehow, the resurgent UNLV Rebs beat the Beavs in Corvallis...Army and Navy continued their unbeaten seasons...as did BYU...Indiana keeps right on a rocking', thumping Nebraska...the Hoosiers are the surprise team of the year, fer shure...and of note for the Ducks, Illinois beat Michigan...as they play them both real soon...next, I think...

Juan Soto hit a 3 run dinger for the Damn Yankees in OT, and that win put them into the World Series...gosh, he didn't hit like that when a Friar...of course, having the Judge hitting behind him, helps...a lot...now, it's up to the Trolley Dodgers to finish off the Mets...in LA...

We lost power in the Marina in the early evening last nite...portable radio was brought out...candles and we were just fine...and worse than that...the day prior...our washing machine went on the blink...you can guess with all the dirty clothes from the Cosmo Trip...and then, all the towels we used to sop up the agua....well, our great friends the Mackles came to the rescue...we used their washing machine for ALL the stuff we had...now, we wait for the repair man...

It's Sunday, and you know it...Monster Sudoku time...going for #51...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
