We Listen, We Watch, and We Judge


The concept of double posting...as the Horse did yesterday...was to get off my chest, the concerns I have for the country...as they infiltrated my brain...and the words needed to emerge...judge for yourself, if they were correct or incorrect...it is the space I needed for clarity...

Tonight's debate, will be the most watched political event, probably in history of the pixels...surpassing the Sooper Bowl, too?...well, that's up to the sports junkies, who have but one item on their minds...ha ha...well, on that day, it is a true statement...

The methodology used by both the debaters, will play immensely on those who are turning into the broadcast...attacks, denials, avoidance, animated retorts will dominate the 1 and 1/2 hour show...it will be a show, right?...as we...

We listen, we watch, and we judge...thus, pop yourselves some corn, make sure you have an ice cold beverage, or two, ready for the event...the Main Event...and for goodness sakes, don't talk during deliberation...

My very own prognostication?...trump will eventually fume...his head will pop with veins that are noticeable...and finally lose it...will call Kamala names...unflattering ones...

Boss and I just got iPhone 15's...of course, Apple is unveiling the 16's...and China is releasing their very own brand, Huawei...their latest version, too... a try-fold one...egads, I don't think we can get those in the USA...but, throughout the rest of the world, yes...we are always just one step behind...curiosity, if one got the Huawei, would one of our systems, like Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, service it?...

The latest version of the Horse...FF team, got pummeled yesterday to a team that had a girl named as the owner...why do I mention this?...my new HC has no clue, Gomer Pyle...if he had played Chicago instead of Miami, for D, we would have won...Gomer is on a short leash...

The Ducks are at the Beavers this Saturday...wouldn't OSU just love to be the spoilers for the UO season?...as one loss will do it...the early line has the Ducks fav by 13...ah, I don't see that...not by what I have seen thus far...weird that they are playing now, and not on Thanksgiving weekend...

Have you seen the POLICE video cam of the arrest and take down of the Miami Dolphin WR TYREEK HILL?...I dunno kids, something is brewing in Miami Beach...appears to be racial profiling...to me...it's a conglomerate of the very rich and not...doesn't Bozo live there?...yup...

The Friars return to action...still up in the PNW, facing the Mariners...take out the sticks, boys...

We are set sailing for Temecula tomorrow...our sights are on the one and only country band, Alabama!...first time we have seen the group...yup, wearing our boots...jeans, and flannel shirt...as the temp has started to fall, in the right direction...whew...

Finally, we have 2 people still in space...and can't get them down...this is a true story...the rocket ship has returned...but, those in the know, are afraid to put them aboard...hmmm, so we send food to 'em...and whatever...'they' say, they will return next year....ah what?...it was supposed to be a week long journey...Astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore...February is the time table...NASA, oh my...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
