The Un-Civil War

For as long as I have lived...well, up until 2020...the very contentious football game pitting the Oregon Ducks and the Oregon State Beavers...that would be held right after Thanksgiving... in November, duh...that would pit the the masses who cared...to one side or the other...in good fun...it was called 'The Civil War Game'...that's all...we would wear our fav team's colors...and root root root for our guys...

Things have changed...as the name went down...due to political and social means...egads, flimsy stuff in the Horse's book...wait, do I have a book?...not sure if there is a name attached to it anymore...too bad...then UO and others, fled the Pac12...to the Big 16, or whatever it is now...and this matchup was in jeopardy...cooler heads prevailed, and the game is still on...both teams enter at 2-0...the Ducks are favored by 16 1/2...what?...them Vegas boyz are coo coo...it is a toss up...

Anyhoo, it is a 12:30 kick off...

Yahoo has Kamala up by 5 points, this just released...the bump from the overwhelming debate performance by her, just has to be the impetus for the momentum...hey, kids, it's a long way to go...lots can be said and done...as I said yesterday, trump fears another match up with her on stage...so he says 'no mas'...

Most of what trump says is just gibberish...he has now gone into the 'shock and awe' phase of his campaign...say something so outlandish, that some may think it is good...thing is, kids, he already has those people...he has to get the sane ones...and being bizarre, doesn't cut it...

Let's get into one of his promises, if he gets the job...'Mass Deportation'...as he bellows, it will be the most dramatic deportation of illegals in the world...ah, see Hitler...his idea, is to round them up (knock knock, this is the TRD, trump deportation department)....put them in camps, as he said there are portable housing just being unused...call them deportation camps...and then send them out...almost everywhere...think this is made up?...his right hand man, Stephen Miller (check his credentials out for bewilderment) would head this up...and as trump said yesterday, he would start the deporting in Springfield and Aurora...send the Haitians back to Venezuela...what?...

The day was just right for the moon, and beisbol...as the Friars won, the DBacks and Bums both lost...love that...

How about last eve's shocking UNLV win over Kansas, in yes, KC, there is one in Kansas, and Mizzou, too...this puts the Rebels at 3-0, the first time in 40 years!...geez, how did they keep the Rebels name, in this day in age?...

We have found a newbie on Netflix...it's a goodun', my good friends...'The Perfect Couple'...a series, starring Nicole Kidman, Liv Schreiber, and the normal, others...trust the Horse...

And yes, I am down to 220...so happy...my new goal?...215...can I do it?...

If you are a forever, then you must love X, it has gone way right...like crazy right...I keep blocking left and RIGHT!...well, all right...

I will watch the Solheim Cup today...forgot it was started...the Ladies...

Purple hair?...like I dunno....seems a bit off the wall...'look at me' statement?...

Really really looking forward to our next week's Cosmo trip to the see the kids...it's been too long...

I have some sort of questions on this...but the Pope, (yes the Catholic guy), entered in the conversation on the 2 candidates for the US Prez...'like picking the lesser of two evils'...get a life dude...who is funding you now?...take a look at your very own Priest list, and tell me about evils...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
