Quick Vacay

Good afternoon, all...we took a quick vacay up to Temecula...and NO, we did not feel the LA earthquake...a 4.7 one, somewhere about the Malibu Beach region...7 miles deep?...not exactly sure what that means...

The reason for the season...er, trip, was to see the legendary Alabama...and stay at the site of it, at Pechanga...well, mixed reviews...lines lines everywhere lines...no bueno...to check in, to get the keys, and to get into the arena for the show...egads, what a circus...and a mess...

The room was fine...but, the way the set up is for the pool...it is virtually impossible to use it, if you are staying but one day, as we were...closes at 5, and it was until 4:30 to actually get the keys...and it opens at noon...ah, what?...so much for that...we are to be out by 11...

We did celebrate our 50th at the Steak House... it was super...great service and they treated us with a comp desert...the pricing was not cheap, but not extraordinary...

The show...had a weird, very south feel to it...almost a MAGA tone...which I am sure that over 50% were...but, the thing we were there for...Randy Owen and the Band...well...Randy is 74 and looks way older than me...no kidding...and his voice?...ah, pretty much gone...at times, it looked like he might be taking a fall...I guess he was trying to show he could still get up and rock...extremely uncomfortable...in fact. the entire nite, was just that...I think we missed him, by 10 years...if you catch what I mean...which makes us wonder...we see Tom Jones next...and he is 84...ah...am afraid instead of rocking his tush, he may be rocking' his walker...and the ladies?...in lieu of throwing panties, could be their teeth...stop it, Horse...


The aftermath of the blood bath debate...Kamala is now up 6 points...acc to Harris...ha ha...not her, but the Poll...sure, trump will accuse her of using her name in an insult to the poll...relax, Bozo, it is just another poll...which changes like the wind...BTW, he has been saying that he won the debate...92-6...OK, right...

I read 69 million viewers of it...wonder how many Magas watched?...shoot, if they did, they probably walked out early, I mean turned the pix off, like they do at his revivals....

Some of you have been taken back by people reacting to comments you have said on Facebook...from one of my blogs, or posts...realize that it is an open forum...and people can be mean...if you want to connect to me, Messenger me instead....if you are wanting to add or speak out...I listen, and try not to comment...everyone has an opinion...often, well, some diff from mine...it's OK...

The weather is finally getting back to normal, down here in south SoCal...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
