In my mind...ah, yes...there is little doubt that there was a rockin' band in Cali...60's or so...70's...that were different...The Doors...the UCLA dude, Jim Morrison, was the voice...also, loved the keyboard play of Ray Manzarek....of course, Jim, was off his rocker some...drugs...and his life ended too soon...man, they had some great songs...'Light My Fire' probably the most famous...my fave was 'Roadhouse Blues'...

FIRE!....it's what the camping is all about...funny, as in our present site, there are a gaggle of Class B RV's....lined up...and most all owners, are huddled around their nite time fires...couples...most likely grandparents...er, of that age...JD (just dumb), there are people that don't have kids...but, Boss and I, were enjoying the FIRE that this Injun made last eve....there is nuttin like it...so awesome...

Yes, Cosmo has been a welcome addition to our lives...this Class B is so maneuverable...we get around...'round round get around'....just like a big SUV...and it has all the stuff that the Class A's and C's, do...you have read a lot about tiny homes....well, this is one...15.5 mpg...certified...and on regular petrol...comfy...I kid u not...

I know you are curious...but Horse (FF) won again...Coach Gomer Pyle has secured his position...and now...

THE SERIES...the Friars are at the Bums...for a 3 set...down 3...wowser, can you imagine, if the Pads sweep?...it's more of a pipe dream (see Jim Morrison)...but, we can dream, right?...

The UN is meeting in Manhattan this week...this is the group that trump wants to...well, he wants to rule the world...if elected...VOTE, kids, VOTE!...

Did you see the very sad vid of an 11 year old being arrested, for threatening to shoot up a school?...this my good friends, points toward parental...lack of being...and THEY should be arrested, too...11 years old...not sure where this was...probably Florida...or, Texas...I am guessing...

Israel and Lebanon war...is there more of the same in Gaza?...as I have said for some time...inevitable...where do we fit in?...

Today we depart Carp, and Montecito....and off to home...via, one more stop...BTW, son's dental office is GREAT!...super employees...happy people...one more thing...it was voted BEST DENTAL OFFICE in Montecito...SB, too?...not sure...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
