Drifting Back in Time

This act just never gets old...in fact, it exhilarates you...the legendary Beach Boys...albeit, there are but 2 standing...Mike Love and Bruce Johnston...with a shocking amount of enthusiasm by John Stamos...the others?...Dennis Wilson and Carl Wilson have passed on...Brian Wilson has a number of health issues...Al Jardine has his own band...and Dennis Means, hooked up with the Boys on their 50th Anniversary Tour, back a bit...however, the present group has invigorated the songs, by youth...Mike's son, Christian, and other very talented 'kids'...

Mike has the lead in many of the songs...his voice is not what it once was...the joyful attitude is still there...and the cats that surround him, do have the voices...and the Shell was absolutely rocking...young and old, grooving to the sounds of the 60's...never fails...


We had a glitch...got our tix thru Stubhub...and didn't actually receive them 'til about 5 pm...bought them in April...needless to say, got a bit antsy...not exactly sure why they don't come when you buy them...so, the testy process makes me lean elsewhere...ah, the next time...the next time?...another group...thru Ticketmaster...one band we have never seen before...you know 'em, Alabama...

Sporty thangs...there is little doubt who is the premier golfer in the land...Scotty Scheffler...won for the 7th time this season...SEVEN!...only the likes of Tiger Woods has done that prior...Scheffler won a cool $25 mill for his playoff win...think about this, he also won the Gold at the Olympics...topping that all off, using a swing that is so awkward, it works...

The Friars won, the DBacks stung the Bums...and the West keeps right on a rocking...Detroit is in town for a set...just win, baby...

Got back so late last nite, that I awakened too tardy to get out to golf today...so, I am writing you all...shoot, it is Labor Day anyhoo...should be a zoo at the course...

Watched the 1st half of the USC/LSU game last eve, before leaving for the concert...2 really good teams...did see that the Trojans prevailed, and the LSU coach went berserk...Kelly, used to this...as he did often when he was at Notre Dame...sporty fellow, right?...anger management, dude...

The one thing about football...you have a full week to correct all your obvious mistakes...ah, or try to correct...

Just in awe...that trump castigated Kamala for treating Mike Pence so poorly...yes, he the guy who had his mob try to lynch him...and berated his very own VP unmercifully....

The Israeli people's reaction to the 6 hostages that were brutally murdered...baffles me...do they actually think that if the arms are put down, the remaining hostages will be freed?...they are not dealing with people with full decks...

For youse counting...the Horse has now mastered the Monster Sudoku 49 times...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
