Circus City


You know my penchant for team golf...lurve it...can be the guys or gals...makes no diff...the drama is great...I can't imagine the stress and camaraderie these pros go thru...in a usual solo game...the Prez Cup, this time in Canada...pits the International Team vs the USA...it's fun, until it's not...

There is a pair of blokes on the INT squad, that take it tooooo far...dance around after winning a hole...antagonize the opponents, I reckon...fire up the home crowd...which wouldn't be needed...make it a CIRCUS!...

One hole in particular, yesterday...one of the blokes, hit a miraculous flop shot, that landed in the hole for a surprising win...as Coach Larry would call it a 'luck bag'...and he and his partner went off...giving the Steph Curry sleep sign to the USA....dancing about like clowns...the euphoria was short lived, however...as their B&B act fell flat...and got beat on the 18th hole...

To make matters worse, one of the blokes....after being obnoxious the whole day...sat at the podium and said that some of the USA players cursed at him...poor baby...this guy is nutso...as his opposing players are two of the coolest pros in the world...Xander and Patrick...as one very great judge would tell the bloke, 'get a life'...

Today, the singles matches...to determine the winning side...bring in the clowns...

Speaking of clowns...the garble that your guy trump, has been saying is deeper and more destructive...to him...then ever before...yes, it will get worse, closer to Election Day...I shall not repeat the rhetoric against VP Harris...let it be known, that he is only talking to his MAGA blokes...

Not sure how to say this...but, it's not a good idea to come into our house, and announce that trump has values...we differ...and you can feel however you do...just not in my space...you vote, and we vote...

The Friars are here on Tuesday in Game 1 of the Wild Card...have not heard the opponent...yet...and NO, it will not be a circus...

Watched the 1st half of the UO/UCLA game last eve...the Ducks dominated, even after giving up an interception for a TD late in the 2nd Q...taped the rest, but did see the score ended up 34-13...must have been a boring 2nd half...

In the D-1 2 big upsets...Bama beat the Dawgs...and Zona beat Utah...hmmm...and what I kinda thought...Boise St is better than the scribes have said...and mauled the Cougs...which makes the Duck win over them, more impressive...figure, UO moves up a bit in the polls...

Just over a month, before we cast our ballot...it will be good to finally end this...

Israel strikes down another Hezbollah leader, they are reporting...and on and on...and on...

Death toll in the 40's?...from the hurricane in the southeast...and cities and homes...destroyed...think we don't have global warming, now?...what say you, Bozo?...

It's Sunday...yup, Monster Sudoku time...still going for number 50...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
