On to LA, Baby

Well, the curtain has closed for the French Olympics...by what I see, the USA had a fantastic appearance there...winning the most medals, and a tie with China for the most Gold...kudos to the athletes...and on the Torch goes to LA...the culmination of it all, was the gals hoops...winning, er, surviving, the champ game...

I was not happy with the coaching of them...extremely outdone by the French...the selection of the team started it all....lacking the direction of the true elite of the game...as it is right now...the absurd misuse of G Sabrina Ionescu, was just an example...the lack of movement another...and yes, two of the spots on that team SHOULD have been Caitlin and Angel...but, the stubbornness of the head coach, was quite evident...get it fixed, Olympic people...for sure, there is better coaching in the college ranks...figure it out...

A bizarre finish to the Friar's game...as SS Kim hit a ball that hit the top of the fence, and the OF, in his attempt to catch it, knocked it over the barrier...at first, ruled a HR...then changed to a double...and that was that...a loss, 7-6...not sure of the rule, as just a few days prior, the same thing happened, and it was ruled a HR...guess who is at the helm in New Jersey calls it...I dunno what is right and what is wrong...

Bizarre 2...as the night was upon the golfers in the Wyndham...PGA...the cat leading fell apart...had an 8, after an eagle 2 on the previous hole...then, the worst of the worst...four putted from 20 feet to lose the T...think it's not hard to win on the tour?...well, in the end, he still made $800 grand...for coming in 2nd...that's like 20 years of teaching salary for moi...

Bizarre 3...your guy trump...accusing VP Kamala Harris of using AI to increase her numbers of people at a gathering...AI?...dude, you can't even spell that...let's see, he has called her a bitch...and dumb...and is Black, when it is convenient...listen Bozo, you didn't even write your book...you paid a ghost writer...even worse, you can't even read a book, let alone yours...I digress...

One of our guys that I golf with, has the Covid...so, not to be put in harm's way...as we fly up north next week...I am staying away...NO GOLF...wait for results on Wednesday...can't be sick and cancel...just can't...

Here at the home, the results of the massive water leak...the dryers are everywhere...as are the water pump systems...we were so lucky...still tho, only one out of four elevators working...oh yea, and like any other neighborhood...there are great people amongst us, and some that are just plain nasty ones...who on earth, would bark at the Boss?...yea, you, you POS...calm down, Horse...

To finish off today...for years, we would travel to Maui...for our anniversary...not this year...but, have always been intrigued by the 'Forbidden Island'...where no one can travel to...I surmised that it was due to the natives there...NO!...Niihau...it was bought out from the King way back...by some white eyes...and established rules of secrecy and isolation...Elizabeth Sinclair bought it for $10,000 worth of GOLD from King Kamehameha V...now, descendants of the family, the Robinsons...run it...the same way...rumored to have somewhere from 70-170 inhabitants...no electricity or running water...only solar panels...you can fly over it...land in a secluded spot...but, can't go to the village...I thought you'd like to know...
