Happy Together


Soooooooo Happy Together...as we set sail for our first of the season concert to Humphrey's By the Bay...for a rousing rendition of the 60's and 70's music...a gaggle of bands are playing...The Turtles, The Association, Badfinger, The Vogues, Jay and the Americans...and others, I think....it's a sing along for us...grouped in a tight little outside venue...which we have been to often...lawdy, the word out is that there is another string of Covid out there...we are shot up as much as we can be...pictured above is the Association...

Egads, I just saw that Prez B has it...and he looks terrible...also heard he has had that medicine for it...Prelocid...something like that...another chapter in his very tired life...

Have you watched any of the trump Republican coronation?...yea, me neither...it's on all the channels but ESPN...guess which one I am watching?...ha ha...

So, I shot an 80 today...calm down...I had a few mulligans, and I am through posting...yup, did drive the rock well, today...seeings I don't enter any tournaments any more...my competitive golfing days are history...but, for some silly reason, I keep score...not sure why....guess, cuz I can...and I love being out there, and have a blast!...helps to have awesome playing buds...we do have a good time...occasional beverages, and for certain, a stogie or two...now THAT is golfing...

More about moi...did see the eye doctor...and the short story, is...I have cataracts roaming in my right eye...must get that corrected....well, having to have that surgery....boo...so, I have gone back to mono vision in the interim...which is bueno...the Dr said that they have the lenses that can have progressives just like the glasses...now...I am sure that's what I'll do, if my insurance will pay...many of the peops I know, have already had the fix...

The laptop issue has been solved...there was a deal on Amazon for the Mac Air...+ a $50 bonus...took it, and that's the way it is...also, went with the 13" in lieu of the '15...cuz I am going to take it on the plane, train, and Cosmo...size was the reasoning...and, that it syncs with my iPhone...it's the 2024 version...

The diet...we stay strong...and it shows...Boss is the best...I do want a waffle real bad...tho...man, we went sort off it last eve at the concert....too much popcorn....

In a little over a month, we fly up to the great PNW....stay with our gracious hosts, the Snookies...party at Boss's reunion...and for our reunion of friends, literally a large cast of characters, at Johnny's the nite before...and then...a brunch at our very best buds, the Zeebees...then off to that coast, and stay at where we had our honeymoon, Inn at Spanish Head...then, finish it all off, heading east to stay with the Gahrs, and have too cool for school time, with our bueno amigos, the Crosses...man, that is a lot of stuff in a short time...yes, for goodness sakes, some Padington's Pizza...Mo's Clam Chowder...and watching the horses at Sunriver...really?...we are going to do all that?...is it possible?...maybe I can talk the gang into riding the horses...not holding my breath...

Back to the now...after the rise of the republican fervor...there is even greater amounts of skepticism of Prez B running for another term...more and more Demo leaders are calling for him to step aside...the Horse believes it will happen...sooner than later...and leave it to the Party to come up with a viable candidate...if it stays as is, the signs are for a republican victory...polls lean that way...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
