Faith, Hope, and Reality

Hi...how are you?...it's the time of the political season to look at things for real...we all make choices...most, could care less who the candidates are...it's the truth...most people vote for their side, regardless of the person nominated...the Democrats, and the Republicans...'I'll be damned if I ever vote for a _________________!'....sure, it is a significant amount of voters, that do just that...

Then, there are those in the middle...the 'swing voters'...that in many cases, decide the election...this time, that number just may increase...so, in essence, each party is lobbying as hard as they can...for these voters...the undecided...

Each candidate, at this time, has their negatives...this my fellow, Horse readers, is PRIOR to the actual conventions...that they have been named...might there by a change?...I am going to lead you with a tickler...sure, there are reasons for the possibility of such a thing...yes, my good friends, all this time bantering back and forth...about the present 2, might be a long, very long...waste of efforts and money...

I am a Democrat...you know this...but, I have concerns about Prez B...the longevity of his staying in office...for another 4 years...listen, he has done a masterful 4 years, thus far...getting us back into the good graces of NATO...and how are your Stocks doing?...right...yup, the price of petrol remains high, as does the price of bread...BUT...I have seen and heard his last month's talks and actions...there is something not right about him....I can't be the only Demo that fears OR SEES this...to embrace him for another term, doesn't seem to be the right path...take him from the agony of it all...and put up another...am I right or wrong?...

Pivoting...the All Star Game is going to feature 5 Friars...all our outfield...1B Arraez, and our closer, Suarez...great stuff...OK, the entire state of Washington comes into Petco for a set, starting tonight...they have good SP's...it will be a test, for sure...

How are you weathering...the weather?...both coasts have extreme heat...but, not down here...go figure...thus, we are lambasted with out of towners, escaping...

Yes, the final season of SUITS is a doozy...for you not into it...start at the beginning...you can thank me later...we do miss Rachel...

It's a slow day...for news...maybe that's good...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
