It was a gorgeous nite here in the Hood...as we traversed our way over to the bay...to see another concert at the Rady Shell...an absolute wondrous outdoor venue...with our closest 8,000 or so fellow groupies...of the one and only, Cody Jinks...OK, a bit tongue in cheek...we had no idear who he was, or what he sang...other than we knew he was a country bloke...our son saw him last month, and dug him...Boss has friends who are truly groupies of the sanger...so, we got tix and went to judge for ourselves...BTW, the opening act was this band called 'Blackberry Smoke'...who were pretty good...

He looked like one of them ZZ Top guys...the people stood and bobbed and weaved as if...when he started his gig...to be perfectly candid, we were about 40 to 50 years older than purnt near everyone there...outside of the ushers, who were our age...the beer lines were longer than the latrine lines, which does not a bit of sense to moi...anyhoo, we had no idea of what the songs were...or words...did see one forever there, with his MAGA cap proudly on his noggin...had the feeling there were plenty more in the arena...whatever that means...I guess it would be termed, an experience...

Saddened by the news of yet another guy that I coached way back when...had died...cancer...and my heart goes out to the family...these kids are much too young to pass...Victor Folk...just a super guy and well, it's just not right...

Must talk about the W...they are getting more and more televised games...which is great...with it, there is a sinister part emerging...almost a hockey feel to the games...as it is a game by game thing...that Caitlin Clark gets...bumped, pushed, and bloody knocked down by jealous opponents...for all the notoriety she brings to the game...listen, ladies...you are benefiting from it...back off...and...indeed...she can play...

College baseball...both Oregon and OSU are winning in their separate regionals...Pomona-Pitzer got ousted in their WS...great season, tho...

The Friars have got 2 in KC thus far...BUT, 2 of our first line chuckers, Yu and Musgrove, are sent to the 15 day IR...egads...hope there are some fresh arms in the farm system, ready to go...

For youse wondering...the barbecue I got last month...the Ninja...is incredible...an electric based one...that really gets hot...most do not...this one does...had some filets last nite, that were restaurant quality...

Listen, you trump believers...if you are reading me...thanks...you have your reasons...fine...I don't understand them...but, we all have beliefs...and I, for one, will never try to change you...it's what this country is all about...freedom of beliefs...

A Big Mac meal for $18?...this has got to be a joke, right?...c'mon Mickey D...corporate said it was at only one location....ah, where?...

Fun time...watching the Canadian Open...the fans are crazed...but, in a good way...they would so like a Canadian to win it...ah, PGA...one did last year...McKenzie Hughes is close...CBS...

Yup, it's Sunday...and you know it...Monster Sudoku time...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country.... Tonight, we hear another exceptional orator...President Bill Clinton ...it's almost like taking a class in college...Speech 101...BTW, I was turrible at it...just in case you were wondering......
