The Reverberations


Well, wasn't that something...the Old Man vs the Con Man...which may just disgust some of you...as the results of the Debate #1 are in...you know, I have been saying this for some time...I wish we had younger candidates...they are out there...but, both parties are stuck in neutral...the results, Horse...trump appeared much more vibrant...Biden was seemingly, an elder...at times, kind of sad...BUT, trump continued his lying streak...too bad, as he had the perfect opportunity to be above all that...and look presidential...he did not...so where are we?...

Rumors are out there...that the Democrats are seeking a newbie to get in the mix...Gavin of Cali, and the gal from Michigan...downplaying VP Kamala as a replacement...I dunno...listening to Prez B today, at his rally...he seemed back to normal...weird...I am just not sure he can last 4 more years...Father Time has hit...I feel the same about trump...he is a walking heart attack...thus, my concern about the aged candidates we have...that's not policies, just the health of some very old politicians...

Missing the debate, due to the Boss and I at the Little Big Town concert...they are simply marvelous!...so many hits and they have a blast...thus, we do, too....will say the seats we had were divine...at a table and no blocked view...the venue...the San Diego Country Fair...is humongous...and yes, we dipped from our diet...shame shame shame...then, the worst part...the exit...the most unorganized traffic chaos...literally took us a half hour to get to the freeway...and just like Orygun, no horse races...boo...

The mighty Friars went on a monstrous hitting event in Boston...scoring 9 runs in the 5th inning...9!...2 homers...and it is amazing the boys are at 4 wins in a row...keep chugging along...what is so surprising...is that 3 starters are injured...next man up...

Haven't talked much about the glamorous people....you know, the in crowd in LaLa Land...ah, well, there is little to talk about...JLo and Ben, are at odds...duh...the KFam keeps posting pix...and, for the sports nuts, the Lakers drafted LeBron's kid with the 55th pick in the NBA draft...Bronny...out of 58 picks...he's not worthy, but that's their problem...guess that's the hidden meaning of today's blog...

Today is 'National Camera Day'...I still have one...it's a beaut...Nikon...but, it is so much easier to use the one in the iPhone...right?...and less cumbersome...and takes great pix...

Wrapping this up...I now know how many of your Republicans feel...you don't want to switch parties...will vote for your candidate, whoever it is (whomever?)...and I have the same feeling for the Democratic Party...will vote for the candidate, just because...we can do better...right?...right...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
