The Idol



The truth...all we want is the truth...'you know Jerry, it is not a lie, if you really believe it is true'...used to be, that one had to tell the truth in a court of law...to the judge who was the patron saint...well now, I am not so certain that the people who make life decisions, are on the up and up...never before, have I doubted the validity of a judge...now, I do...am I different than any of you out in the world?...are my thoughts the same as yours when it comes to this topic?...how did this happen?...sinister ways have imploded the system that we hold so deeply...the answer, is that politics have invaded our truths...to the point, of making the entire scene a macabre...of what we used to call...justice...

Witness the upcoming presidential debate...how many lies and partial truths, will come out of the mouth of trump?...as he will gush over things that will rally his forevers...that is, if they watch...yes, I am taping the debate...will he show?...which is still a burning query...

My blog title today, just happens to be about my IDOL...another takeaway from the great show, SEINFELD...which never diminishes in comedic relief...even tho I have seen all the episodes over and over...and over...but, I have a real fondness for the character, Puddy...as I too, can stare straight up at the ceiling...and think about nothing...cleansing my brain, I say...as the Boss will ask 'are you really not thinking anything?...that's right...nothing...it's my little get away...he actually is David Puddy in it...his real name, er, stage name is Patrick Warburton...born in 1964...really and this is where we part symmetry...he is a conservative...

Woah, what is going on over at Petco?...the fab Friars have won 3 straight over the division leading Brew Crew...have we awakened?...tell you what, our 21 yr old CF, Jackson Merrill, is the real deal...has hit 7 home runs in the last 10 games...the Pads go for the sweep today...

Another round of the W today...with CC and Angel going at it...as per usual, it shall be a highly watched event...the league keeps growing in interest...this one is in Chi-town...

The Celtics just won the NBA Crown...and the first Q out of one of the pundits mouths...'what are the chances next year?'....please, foos, let them enjoy this one...right now...tomorrow is another day...

It is Sunday, and you know it...Monster Sudoku Day...going for my 46th win...hmmm, it is really called 'Sudoku Monster'...whatever...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
