The Miles of Smiles


Good morning, kids!...as we embark on another terrific Thursday...giddy?...perhaps, as the Friars won the series in Chi-town...shutting out da Cubbies in game 3....with a one hitter by the staff...this Cease kid was cooking and spot on...shall give AJ the credit for getting this one...back to the best darn city in the world, for a set with...eewww...the Bums...day off today, and then the show begins tomorrow...

The miles of smiles, I am referring to, is that MTG (Marjorie Taylor Green) got her smile wiped right off her face...she tried, in vain, to get Speaker Johnson (Mr Peepers) removed from Speaker of the House...alas, the Demos sided with the other side and kept him aboard...

Oh to be in the courtroom...as Stormy resumes her stand there...as the defense will try to whittle her down...it's done, dudes...the damage...she told the jury what happened...trump has been denying it forever...he is a pathological liar and this is just another example of...yet, this one may cost him some time in the slammer...smiles are from one coast to the other...

How about another oddie...his son, Baron, was just announced to be a delegate in the Florida Rep Convention...is that a peace offering to Melania?...or, is it that no one wants to serve for the bloke...this is more than a smile, but a belly laugh...

The NBA playoffs...Indiana is the latest to have to endure the odd officiating that the Knicks are privy to...in fact, they are objecting to the league...showing 78 instances of bad calls, in their 2 games with NY...smelly, too...was the same official that was stinking up the Nuggets/TWolves game, was on the Pacer/Knick game last eve...

I gave Boss the deciding vote on where we were to vacay next week...the choices were out there...and she decided on Pechanga...done...it's a lil getaway and it shall be a blast...

With the lurid details of trump...makes me wonder even more, what Putin has on him in Moscow...what was filmed?...must be a yuge thing, for donny to bow down to him...

Nelly Korda going for her 6th straight LPGA win...in New Jersey...this is simply awesome...hopefully, more eyes will be on the T...will say, the broadcast of the ladies tourneys, are boring...they need to find other ways of telecasting...and spruce them up...

BTW, on the guys side...does anyone watch or even, give a damn about the LIV tour?...nice job, Norman, you have ruined golf...what a piece...

Taking a day off from golf...not sure if anything changed...did go into the pool and hot tub...but, me nite was still filled with discomfort...took Alleve and finally got some sleep...no smiles here...

Prez B is holding out on the ammo to Israel...if they would negotiate in lieu of attacking...he would give it to them...Netanyahu is upset...so be it...this leader needs to be restricted...

We have been going on 3 weeks now...the Keto based diet...no carbs & no sugar...well, a whole bunch less than what we have had in the past...down 9 and am finding the next lbs hard to shed...we have adapted well...and can live and eat like this...

Just saw that the WNBA can be seen on their online app...listen, kids, the tele companies are missing out on the league...there is loads of interest and people would watch...should that be 'are?'...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
