Memorial Day





I shall take my cowboy hat OFF, to honor the fallen soldiers that have made the USA what it is today...the people who gave their lives for the country...the pawns, I often refer them as...to do what the leadership has ordered them to do...it's just an honor, to marvel at those brave men and women, who died, doing what they were told...most wars have seemed justifiable...some not...BUT, the soldiers did what was asked...I honor them today...this Memorial Day...

The weather in our nation right now...is unprecedented...wild tornado patterns, popping up more often than I can recall...is it the global warming thing?...the turbulence in the sky, for these latest airplane horrors...I dunno, kids...something is awry...there has to be a reason...or, reasons...

The death of the PGA golfer, Grayson Murray, was indeed suicide...confirmed by his family...it is a phenomena of life, that I will never ever understand...

How about them Friars!...got game 3 vs the Damn Yankees...will say this...that NY Team is the best in the AL...barring injuries, will be in the World Series...too many bats and quality pitching...that'll do ya...what was this?...the Bums went into Cincy and got swept?...LA papers are calling for the ouster of the Mgr...get a life, yea, it is his fault...such is the longevity of a season in baseball...BTW, all of south Florida invades the Gaslamp for another set...starting today...

NBA...Boston and Dallas on a sweep path to the finals...yea, that will be a fun set of games...BTW, how on earth did the TWolves Rudy Gobert, get best defensive player of the year?...he's a cat on skates... 

Tomorrow is closing arguments for the trump criminal trial...you been following it?...the fate of Bozo will be in the hands of the 12 jurors...I never know what a jury will do...case in point, OJ's trial...so celebrities, seem to have an edge...even though they did it...just one little thing...do YOU think with all the shenanigans that trump does and says...that there just maybe is a bit of jury tampering?...a thought for you all...

There was this poll set up by Google....for each state in the US...as to what is their favorite type of coffee...the winner overall was iced coffee...gimme a break...it's got to be French Roast...HOT!...the survey said Cali liked Decaf...right...and Orygun?...cold brew...c'mon...must be the same polls that have Bozo winning the election...

You may wonder why I led with the take off of my cowboy hat for this day...it also, is for all my fellow Natives, who died trying to stave off the Europeans who were taking over our country...long before any Revolutionary War and Civil War...I honor them...that is how we got the Cowboy hats...after all..

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
