Here's Mud in Your Eye




The only way that I was going to lose my bet on the Preakness...was Mother Nature...what, say you, Horse?...rain...and lots of it...which makes the track officially, MUDDY!...there goes my fav, the closer...to win...in fact, handicapping a muddy track is near impossible for young horses...?...that was weird...young horses are hard to handicap...there you go...they have not had enough races to get a feel for what they do...oh well, mine came in 3rd and I got some of my $ back...such is the sport...

The PGA T is officially a crap shoot...X and Morikawa are up one on Theegala...and there are a boatload of dudes close by...as far back as JT is, he has a chance...BTW, the 3 leaders are all American...with those names...say we aren't a country of diversity?...let's go!...

NBA playoffs...wild finish for the Mavs/Thunder (Supersonics) last night...as Dallas moves on to the final 4...awaiting the TWolves/Nuggets winner...which is today at 5 in Colorado...and the Pacers/Knicks game 7 is today at 12:30 in NYC...wonder what refs are on that one?...snarky remark, Horse...

Graduation now appears to be a total joke...well, the commencement services...thanks to you know who, this country is so divided it is near unbearable...give the diplomas out, and get on with your lives...and hope to hell, that Bozo is defeated yet again...and we can get back to normalcy...

Have read a post about losing a job in education, back in Oregon...a teacher with 27 years at her spot...and she gets cut back to 1/2 time...in the most difficult time for education in many districts up there...they have NO sales tax...which helps fund schools...and good lord, any bond measure to keep the schools running, gets voted down...as the people DON'T want any more tax...it's the only place they can show their disgust...cuz, the Fed Tax goes on without any regular people's input...so, police, firemen, roads, parks, education, all take a hit...what a mess...

'Here's Mud in Your Eye'...may have come from Biblical ways, Jesus cured a man's blindness with mud in the eye...really....but, nowadays (?), starting in the 1930's, it often is used as a congratulatory memo for taking a drink...in horse racing, it is for all them horses that finished behind you in the race...for whatever reason, I woke up with some mud in my eye...

Our new Ninja...smoking bar-b-q...used it last eve and it was dazzling...heated right up...remained the temp, even tho we put it on the side deck, with all the wind...thus far, 'A'...tonight I think we are doing steaks...we shall see...

I saw via FB, that the Sagehens are up 2-1 games on the Bearcats...are there more?...go PP!...

Tonight Idol has it's christening of the newest 'American Idol'...all 3 are deserving and I can't pick one over the other 2…but, in the past, it's the guy with the guitar that wins...

Ah, the ice box is bare...purnt near...we are in dire need of goods to be replenished...that's what happens when you vacay...so, today, is a visit to the super for said stuff...

Man, I was singing this...and it finally rang a bell...by the Kingston Trio...'Scotch and Soda'...'Mud in your eye'...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
