Fiendish Friday

These days are filled with things, I thought that could never, ever, happen...outlandish requests, lies, and innuendos...how a presidential candidate could actually bring in fossil fuel CEO's...beg them for a BILLION BUCKS, in return, he would squash all the efforts of Prez B, in limiting the use of the product...you know, de-modernize...IF HE GETS ELECTED...trump did this allegedly...at his only spot in the US, that he can reside...Mara-Lago...sends chills up me spine...

Then, after forever denying any dalliance with the lady, Stormy Daniels...has to sit in a courtroom in NYC...and listen to the details of the 'alleged' affair...well, one nite...do his followers ever just cringe?...like enough is enough?...then, after the court takes a break for the day...he goes out in the hallway and rips the judge...calls him corrupt...he actually called the judge that...should be immediately thrown in a holding cell...yea, MAGA, this is your guy...

A Virginia school board, is going to reverse itself...they had stripped the names of a couple of schools...that had Confederate Leader's Names...yup, voted to reinstate them...which leads me to this, we are so divided in the country...again...

One last comment on the aforementioned...this is all about the ways of political leadership...and lack thereof...we, the people, need to stand up to such anarchy...the way, is to VOTE!...VOTE!...never assume that your singular tally means nothing...it does...they all count one...regardless of who you think you are...

Pivoting...

Big series in town...the Bums are in...which brings mega LA blue...all over the Gaslamp...the task is huge...as the visitors are extremely talented...the best money can buy...starts tonight...

NBA playoffs...save your scratch...the weird play of these elite teams, befuddles the brain...great one nite, and awful a couple of days later...fuggit about the reffing...it is head scratching, for sure...yup, don't bet these...

Jerry Seinfeld used to be funny...what?...his show was the best...but, we have seen him live a couple of times...and he is...just OK...laugh out loud?...nope...and lately, he seems to be trying too hard...and falls flat on his face...the Horse truth...

With my back pain, while, well, all the time...I am going to try a brace today...and see if it helps...on the course, of course...no idea, unless I try it...we shall see...

This weekend there are lots of festivals, all over the bay...so many things closed off...as we biked there yesterday...not sure what they all are...I think a Louisiana based thing...and a country one, too...I dunno...today's Trib should help me out...

BTW, hold off you republicans...as President B is holding the bait for Israel...and not giving...back when, Prez Reagan did the same...trying to lure Israel back...so...regardless of affiliated party, the US did the same thing...

And so it goes, this fiendish Friday...5/10/24...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country.... Tonight, we hear another exceptional orator...President Bill Clinton ...it's almost like taking a class in college...Speech 101...BTW, I was turrible at it...just in case you were wondering......
