'Before entering our fine establishment, you are to be wearing appropriate attire'...well, snooty it is...the bloody Dress Code!...'we reserve the right to serve customers'...ah, what?...you enter this 'fine establishment' and you don't have a blazer on...and you are...blocked from entering...'well, sir, we do have some blazers you can rent for the dining experience'...some flea laced piece of fine gabardine, that others have worn...who knows what is on it...and that is acceptable?...'and oh, by the way, that top hat is breaking our rules, too...no hats allowed'...there is a clothes monitor at the door?...the ladies, 'no inappropriate dresses'...unless you are KK, and you can wear near nothing...that's OK...which gets me to...you are entering the land of the upper class...whatever that is...unless, you are famous, for any reason...they, can enter...rules are waved on them...and...just why do you want to eat there?...
Golf courses in the Coachella Valley...the ones that they themselves are famous...host pro golf t's...they have dress codes, too...collared shirts, tucked in, of course...slacks or long golfing shorts, accepted...for the ladies, appropriate attire only...nothing too short, for goodness sakes...even the greeting may be shoddy, or snotty...drop off your golf bags at the proper station...no golf carts allowed in the parking lot...before or after the round...and oh my, if you have the audacity to go into the golf restaurant for lunch...don't you DARE wear your cap in there...
Well, I say...c'mon down to my side of town...wear whatever...flip flops?...fine...cool caps?...sure...shorts?...of course...tee shirts, with cool logos?...a must...for the ladies...show a little of this and that?...you betcha...smoke a stogie?...gals and guys, only in the street...and if you are seen sporting a blazer, you are a dead giveaway for an out of towner...BTW, that is fine, too...you are all welcome...
The problem with giving the Final 4 a full week to practice for the games...is that the pundits run their mouths, as to whom shall be the victors...too much of it...lord knows the players need the break on their bods and minds...and the coaching staff devours the films...I laugh at back in my day, we had none of that...we knew what they would run, and their D...but, we just did our thing and played on...4?...I just ran to an open spot...ha ha...

Friars...won game 3 vs the Cardinals...whew...38 thousand plus, keeping the faith at Petco...you guys are way ahead of moi...day off, then on to the Bay Area...who, BTW, just got swept by the Bums...it is...LA, then the rest of us...and, they are fun to watch...really...I say that, and I almost fear that I may get hit by lightning...you see, you have an all star team...what's not to like?...other than they are the Bums...
Drum roll please...the Amtrak is back!...so, we have another route to Montecito...thus, Cosmo rests...BUT, where do we stay there?...the spare BR may be used...then, we have to find a hotel...which like $3 bills, children...300 of 'em...per nite...you rich cats, no prob...but, we are on a fixed income...
The summer...we have 2 things that are on the table...one, my nephews wedding back east...long flight...right...and Boss's class reunion...she has decided that she must go to see her buddies of old...flight?...or Cosmo?...regardless, it is either a money venture or a time venture...I am her vehicle, baby...it's a long drive, or a short flight...right there, it may have solved the issue...
