Catch and Kill



The art of dodging...when one is up for a political office...the skeletons...are they minor enough to skip by in the public's minds?...we are all, full of them...sin free?...I doubt it...that's why the Catholics have them confession booths, right?...I digress...let's not get into religion...the problem arises when the candidate knows he or she is not worthy...WORTHY!...but, goes ahead anyway...and tries to hide the sins...call them whatever...the mess they made in the past...better?...and lies...hides the truth...

One such cat is the one and only former Prez of ours, trump...do I dare say allegedly?...in his years of growth thru the system of Manhattan...he stepped on many people's toes...in his quest for grandness and money...MONEY MONEY MONEY...sleazed his way to what he thought was the top...and then thought it was time for him to be the president...BUT, to do so, he had to find a way to cover up his sins...

He had a tight bond with any who would help him...one such guy, was the publisher of the notorious National Enquirer...the bloke's name is really David Pecker...worked out a deal with him...to publish great things about trump, and horrible things about his opponents...here is the deal, make them up...lies...perhaps, partial truths...these papers are in the check stand, in most supers throughout the country...thus, helping the cause of Bozo...

Not enough ammo...there are the affairs of trump...call them what you want...while his latest wife, Melania, was pregnant...hmmm...so, to restrain the news of them, to the public...the paper would pay the gals for their stories....like decadent big bucks...in return, they were to not give the info out to anyone else...and then...the Enquirer would NEVER publish the story...it is in the business 'Catch and Kill'...

So, this is what the trial is all about...did donny have anything to do with this?...the 'Hush Money'...his attorney at the time, paid at least one of them off...and now...the prosecution is trying to prove that it was all trump...did he cover it up?...the trial is now in the hands of the 12 jurors...and we shall see...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
