It was a donnybrook...the game last eve...as the Creighton Tigers beat the Ducks...in double overtime...UO had it's chances...especially in the regular game...mistakes...a missed FT...it was exciting, yet frustrating...Creighton is the OTHER university in Nebraska...a private, Jesuit one...ah, does Gonzaga ring a bell?...they are loaded...and the gallant effort by the Ducks was awesome...but, in reality, it takes more than 1 and 1/2 scorers to win...they almost did...still, a marvelous turnaround to a very average season...as I led today with, 'Close, but NO cigar'...
