Close, But NO Cigar

It was a donnybrook...the game last eve...as the Creighton Tigers beat the Ducks...in double overtime...UO had it's chances...especially in the regular game...mistakes...a missed FT...it was exciting, yet frustrating...Creighton is the OTHER university in Nebraska...a private, Jesuit one...ah, does Gonzaga ring a bell?...they are loaded...and the gallant effort by the Ducks was awesome...but, in reality, it takes more than 1 and 1/2 scorers to win...they almost did...still, a marvelous turnaround to a very average season...as I led today with, 'Close, but NO cigar'...

The massacre in Moscow...the numbers have been elusive...what I am reading today, is 133...a horror for all...Putin is accusing everyone of it...of course he is...ISIS is claiming it...and I don't think he believes 'em...is this a political hit?...have no clue...

What is this story?...Kim Mulkey, the explosive head coach of the LSU Lady Tigers...they are Tigers, right?...is getting ahead of something that the Washington Post is to publish about her...so she says...must have been tipped off...'going to hire the best defense attorney she can find'...hey, call the bloke in Mara-Lago...he has used most of them...do not know what the accusation might be...but, I can guess it is back when she was at Baylor...

Woke (the other meaning) up today, with a rattle of people below us...it had been raining and very windy...during the night...thought it might be some street persons...alas, it was different..a marathon race...race?...event...they are all winners...but, can't they run these at like 10 am?...

Speaking of breakfast...I was, wasn't I?...what's your fav Sunday morning fixings?...today, I am making scrambled eggs with ham...cheese on top...with hash browns...some fruit...and whole wheat toast...I am getting hungry, as I write...

Russia fired more rockets into Ukraine yesterday...not that profound, BUT, one went over Polish territory...and that country is preparing for war with Putin...here we go...inevitable...

Dance music today...games I think have some oomph...Prez James Madison vs Duke...Yale vs SDSU...and the ladies, Nebraska (the other U there) vs Oregon St...Middle Tennessee vs Mulkey's LSU...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
