The Leap Year

Here we are, 2024...and for all youse out there...we are now in the Leap Year...yup, the 29th of February...once every 4 years, this day emerges...on your and my, calendar...there are a boatload of calendars that are mentioning the need for the extra day...over the norm 365 of 'em...here some are...the Julian, Gregorian, Baha'i, Bengali, Hebrew, and of course, the Chinese Calendar...all necessitating that extra day...this extra day...in truth, the 366th day was added to keep the calendar synchronized with the astronomical year...OMG, something like that...so when did this start?...acc to some, by Julius Caesar in 46 BC...others, using the Gregorian calendar, in 1582...whatever...seems so bogus to me...and ask that of all the people who were born on February 29...

Bad day for trump...he had whatever is left of his attorney crew...to tell Manhattan, he doesn't have the scratch to post bond for the protest...boo hoo, no surprise...he ain't what he says he is...and the state of Illinois has him taken off the prez ballot there...ha ha...boo hoo...that's state number 3...however, that seems to fire up his SCOTUS...saying that they will get to his case...they will take it on...listen, kids, we are not what we should be, too...he muffed up the country so bad, we are STILL trying to correct his crap...

For you, who peruse the downtown area of San Diego...you will be amazed at how cleared out the tents are...and you are able to actually walk on the sidewalks...without fear of harm...it is a wonderful sight...as I drove thru the free area yesterday...perhaps, I should say 'freed up area'...hoorah!...

Wildfires in the state of Texas...should be about the time that their Senator Cruz, takes a vacay to Mexico...doesn't he always leave when there are problems?...perhaps, a trip to Mara-lago...

Putin...did his state of the union address yesterday...and threatened to use nuclear weapons against NATO countries if they send forces to defend Ukraine...doesn't get any more blunt then that...ah ha, so this is why trump wants to get outta NATO...what does Putin have on orange anyway?...I think it is videos of him...has to be...

Speaking of vids...did you see the one, where an alligator in Florida...leaped up and tried to take a bite out of some riders in a golf cart?...dang it, wish that was in Mara-lago...it was not...

My lead yesterday...sure showed the passion of many...the vintage Chevys...and so too, was the wants and desires...of what they had..back then...

Had just a wonderful day out at Singing Hills yesterday, accompanied by Cuz Larry Gahr...who hits the rock like a cannon ball...so long...egads, the earth shakes...my blog pix, has what we saw...roaming the 13th hole on Oak...the beautiful deer...78* and totally sunny...

Selfishly...the Horse says that he wants a terrific watch for the present from Boss, for our 50th Anniversary...not a Rolex...that's too much dough, and like donny, we don't have it...you know, fixed income and all...I will not tell you what I got her...but, she already has hers...smiley face...

Rumor mill...trump does not have the money...and is moving whatever he can OUT OF NYC...to his hideaway in Mara-lago...so, the state of NY can't seize it...in their next move...how much is the trump tower worth?...
