The lyrics have little to do with what the SoCal coastline may have to deal with...MUD SLIDES...as the 2nd wave of this rain and wind event hits us this ENTIRE WEEK!...a slow moving storm, packed with lots of moisture...the bulk of this is hitting north of Diego, as of now...Dr Cris has been manning his office (Montecito) like 24 hours...sand bags, sump pumps, and labor...down here, we are expecting the golf course to get drenched...and the likes of moi, well now, there are not very many of them, stay in their high rises above all the RAIN...
'Mud Slide Slim' is one of those rare James Taylor songs, that never ever gets played on the airwaves...thing is, it is a catchy, groovy, rad, hip tune...I can still recall, back in my heydays, walking into the 'Tool Crib'...this song was playing...and the way the bar was set up, you could see everyone, once upon entering...this time, everyone's head was bobbing up and down to it...never forget...dude, it was boss...
