It Was The Milkman



Too many jokes about 'It was the milkman' over the years...but, many of youse out there don't even know what I am referring to...you see, back in the 1900's, the milk was actually DELIVERED to your door...and other dairy products, if you chose that...straight from the dairy, no middle man...er, grocery store...no super...it was simply grand...fresh...and tasted wonderful...now, it is a gone thing...you have to go to the super to get yours...

The jokes were usually centered around the looks of the children in families...some, had little characteristics of the father...of the homeowner...thus, it was the milkman...c'mon, coulda been the postman...or newspaper boy (er, man)...stop this line...it was all heredity from way back when...

BREAKING NEWS!!!  trump has been found to stand trial for his actions....the unanimous decision of the DC Circuit Court DENIES trump's attempt at immunity!!!...he is now, Citizen trump...

Nostalgia...we got wrapped up in it last eve...watching YouTube with the Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, and Little Big Town...such good music...the great part of the app, is that it just chooses whatever, and on it goes...surprise surprise surprise...as we are caught up on the series we are watching...awaiting for the new chapters...

Sorry to hear of the passing of country star, Toby Keith...at the very young age of 62...just ain't right...saw him at the race track in Salem, Oregon...the State Fair...he was a very huge guy...back when they had horse races...my fav song of his?...'How Do You Like Me Now'...cool vid for it, too...

Are you getting ready for the LVIII Sooper Bowl?...party down, Garth...we shall be in Montecito...hope the good doctor will have the set ready for us...BUT, I am referring to the commercials...as the ad companies are polishing off their presentations...we, the people, do the judging...oh yea, and I am pulling for the KC Chiefs...figure this will be a close one...the line has been steady at 2 1/2 for the 49ers...and the over under at 47 1/2...if that shakes your tree at all...

The rain did finally get down to us, here in Diego...we were, er, are, on the perimeter of the big stuff...it's here, but not what the weather peops warned...LA and SB, yes, they got hammered...we are, were, lucky...'but we needed it'...right...ah ha...the weather has spooked the airplanes...as the jets are taking off over the city...this happens like at most, 10 times a year...

Wasn't that long ago, that the pro franchises would not have a team in Vegas...too many bad things, there...like gambling...duh...that has given way to betting on all the sports...agreed to, by the leagues...so guess what?...the NFL and MLB have moved teams there...wont be long for the NBA...sure, now...the Sooper Bowl is there...the times they have a changed...

donny has some things that are diff from others...well, most everything...but in reference to 'supply chain', he thinks they are 'supply change'...damn, if he could only read the teleprompter...well, read...

So you think, it may be a great time to roust out some breakfast cinnamon rolls...unless you are a foodie (Kim Hankins Cross)...that makes everything from scratch...you need that smell and well, product...there are refrigerated ones...and every bakery has their own version...all fine, I'd say...there is this frozen one, that is getting rave reviews...I have yet to try...Rhodes...so, for the near future...this is what I am going to get...I shall let you know, how good they are...does Cinnamon Crunch cereal count?...nope...

                                                This is Tuesday, but feels like a Saturday...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
