Incredibly, we have yet to have the Pineapple Express hit us...YET... San Diego...on the other hand, just north of us, they have been bombarded...Dr Cris in Montecito, a Keizer to Santa Barbara...for youse unaware...has been in constant peril...he has been using 3 sump pumps to help the water go...away...the storm has been all the way up to SF...and beyond...this is a massive one, ya'll...the width is extraordinary...so curious what happens to it, once it starts across the country...

Dang if I didn't watch a couple of things, I said I wouldn't....first the NFL All Star stuff...it was really kinda fun...the rope pull, and the flag football...the players really got into it..which helped everyone else enjoy the time...kinda like a 7 man football, that most high schools use during the summer...listen, it is better than the pads on thing, that no one wants to tackle the other guy...

The other is the Grammy's...I did find it odd, that most of these 'pop' awards went to the women in the field...in fact, most nominees were women...just the opposite in the country awards, where it is dominated by the male specie...nothing sexist, here...ah, or is there?...for the time I watched, there was no political banter...we save that for the Oscars, I hope...Taylor Swift continues to dominate...as per usual, I don't think I can tell you one song I knew...that the performers did...well, no...I couldn't...didn't...zero...

MILEY CYRUS, a recipient of her first Grammy...while performing her song, stopped in the middle and gave the crowd, a 'you know this song' routine...nope, this crowd here at the home, didn't...either...

The latest craze in battery power...is lithium...so where do these manufacturers get it?...from the ground, kids...and just south of the Palm Springs/La Quinta/Indio townships...is this body of water that is ladened with it...the Salton Sea...curious again, will these flood waters get to the Salton Sea?...make it more difficult to get the lithium?...I dunno...

Boss and I did get our flu shots...my arm is sore, as last week, when we got our Covid booster, it was not...just the opposite for Boss...go figure...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
