Swatting




Here we go again...another term that is thrown out at us, the public...and we are supposed to know what it means...much like the Anagrams that are used for most of the public offices and jobs...they are jobs, right?...I mean if you are a judge, it is a job...or senator...or, even a president...I digress...the term that is being casted out now, is 'SWATTING'...it has been used by a mysterious person, or group, to pester a person...pranking, if you will...well, I will...it is a method of getting police, firemen, and scores of reporters out to a very important person...in the past week, used on a judge and an AG that just so happens to be deliberating on yet another trump case...funny...odd...whatever it takes to get even, right donny?...

trump...is now trying the birther trick on Nikki Haley...anything to sabotage the 'enemy'...do you get the sense that EVERYONE is his enemy?...have to think that most all of his forevers, have never met the bloke...hey, tonight, the debate between Haley and DeSantis of Florida (DF)...a must see, I think...too bad, orange isn't there...as his ears will be a burning...ah, yes, he is in court...again...

Flopping?...I thought that was to be stopped in the NBA...one of the masters at the craft, the Lakers AD (Anthony Davis, alias the Brow), pulled off a beaut...negating a winning 3 ball by Toronto...seems like the refs are not totally privy to the rule change...geez, that 7 foot dude, goes down like a tinker toy...

The NFL owners are doing their thing...throwing their cash around, like it is a monopoly game...firing at will...gonna find a better man to run their little enterprise...SWAPPING...some of these blokes, actually hire the guys that the other foo just fired...watch how long the newly canned guy from Tennessee, Mike Vrabel, remains unattached...won't be a week...hey, my HC Fife is available...for the right price...

For youse who are worrying about my bee sting...I am still puffy...go figure...them damn bees...actually hurt some last eve, going to sleep...think I should be carrying around a can of bee killer...get them, before they get me...

Gots a memo from them Gahrs up there in Bend...well, Boss did...and they had 7 inches of snow by 5 pm yesterday...what exactly is snow?...yet, it is 37* out at Singing Hills this am...just has to be a frost delay...

NFL Playoffs start this weekend...I am a fan, but, do not bet on the games...Saturday, is the Browns at the Texans...and the Dolphins at the Chiefs...man, that KC game is going to be sub zero temp...real football weather...ah, to us viewers...

Finally, we are watching a vintage series on Prime...'The Firm'...interesting and keeps you going...made in 2012...I can't imagine how we missed this one, too...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
