On The Border



Not what you may think...we pontooned (kidding) down to the local vinyl shop yesterday...local?...Point Loma...and there was still some standing water...about...the place we go, was surrounded during the 1,000 year storm...the owner says up to his waste...oops, waist...damn the English language...with visions of purchasing an Eagles record...we found 'On The Border', arguably (wait, who am I arguing with?)...make that in my estimation, one of the best records they put out...which somehow, I have lost...and now, well, it is a new vinyl and I am mighty proud to own...whew...to add to my collection...

'Hampshire put the hammer down on Haley'...had to do it, the alliteration...but, the numbers, kids...did not see her winning...but, trump got 163,000 and she had 130,000...that's a lot of folk that don't like the bloke...Nikki Haley will battle on...she must...as when he gets the slammer, well, she needs to be ready...BTW, on the victory docket behind orange...was MTG, Hoot, and Tim Scott...the 3 stooges...adding to the love fest, was Scott professing to donny "I love you'...Adolph who?...

You want to be a NBA coach?...your dream job finally happens...you get the Milwaukee Bucks...and are leading your team to a 30-13 record (2nd best in the entire league), mid season...then...BOOM!...management calls you in and fires your arse...'you have lost your locker room'...really, where did it go?...your best player doesn't like you...you are too hard on him...the team, then takes a full day to replace you...with the much traveled coach, Doc Rivers...wasn't he serving as the team consultant?...perhaps, he had more input than you think...take your cash and fly outta there...

We did go to CVS and get our Covid shot yesterday, too...I am fine, but Boss is a bit affected...this is our 4th one...no mas, I hope...we know peops that won't get 'em...not sure of their rationale...

Back to the NBA...the Clip Joint is an all star team...not sure how the ball gets to all 3 of them...the Beard, Kawhii, and PG...which may be the downfall...if they truly ran an O, it could work...but, it is the dribble dribble dribble dribble, go off screen...shoot...no flow...no nuttin...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
