The Sooper Bowl is set...ah, in Vegas, baby...like where else?...the combatants?...here we go...in the 1st semi, the Chiefs completely dominated the Ravens...their preparation was spot on...quick hits and terrific blocking...and KC and Taylor, stamp their ticket to Sin City...and in the 2nd game...woah to be a faithful Lion fan...as the bonehead calls of the coach, probably cost them a shot in the final...were they the better team?...yes...but, the steadiness of the 49ers prevailed...4th down go fers, in lieu of chip shot 3 pointers...and did not get the 1st down...in essence, turnovers...anyhoo...it is the Kansas City Chiefs vs the San Francisco 49ers...the Horse early line is 5 favoring Taylor and her squad...

A drone strike on the US in Jordan...Prez B vows retaliation...as I have said so often, that whole area is combustible...another example of...who knows where this leads...but, the MAGA Senator Lindsey Graham, is calling for strikes into Iran...perhaps, a bit off his rocker...or, he has been talking to his ventriloquist, trump...it's one of those things, we shall see...

Do you remember...back in the days...when you would join a record or CD club...you would get like 6 'free'...and then get one sent to you every month for a 'nominal' price?...now, it is really hard to buy just one of those...the clubs are gone...as are the products, for the most part...I saw a store in Palm Springs that was selling vinyls, BUT, it also was selling marijuana of some sort...really odd...can't recall the name of it...

The Ladies T in Florida...a shootout with Lydia Ko and Nelly Korda...the latter had to eagle, birdie, to get into the OT...which she did...and then WON it on the 2nd OT hole...it's good golf, but there is little excitement...much the same as the guys, right now...no whooping and hollering...where are you Tiger and Paula?...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
