There Are No Raisins




So you go to the super, and amongst many things you buy....you decide upon a cereal 'Raisin Bran Flakes'...the next day, in the am....you take out your RBF and pour it into a bowl...alas, there are NO RAISINS...what the heck?...add the milk and it still tastes good, but, geez, not what you thought you bought...

So you buy some tickets to a bowl game, in advance, mind you...to get good seats...then, you arrive at the game...and the teams come out onto the field...and there are 10 'stars' not in uniform...shoot, the head coach is gone, too...well, the game goes on...and it is OK....but it wasn't what you paid for...

Do you see any similarities?....there ain't any raisins...

I'm looking out my window as I write...and it is a most beautiful red tinted fog, amassing the Hood...really cool and eerie at the same time...

Your guy trump, avoided in Michigan, what Colorado did...take him off the primary ballot...imagine in these days...that we are even talking about such a thing...as he gave his so called adversaries, Prex B and AG Smith a fond wish on Christmas 'rot in Hell'...one thing I am sure of, one of those 3 will be there, eventually....

Back to the bowl games...due to the mass uncertainty of where these players are gonna be next season...ie, the coaches...this awful transfer portal system...and humongous under the table monies freely given out...there are countless unsportsmanlike penalties and ACTIONS going on...which tells me, that we witnessing utter chaos in D-1 football...

Blind faith...yes, I know it was a band back in your heydays...but, I am referring to what I witnessed last eve...we met up with them Gahrs at one of our joints, Barleymash...right outside was a 'battle of the bands' of the two schools playing in the Holiday Bowl today...Louisville and USC...where I am going with this...there was a huge contingent of Trojan fans in Barley, too...and when their band struck up the fight song, they all went delirious...do they know that most of the stars of their beloved team, were NOT playing in the game?...but, they were there to...well, too bad, as there are no raisins...

The Detroit Pistons have now lost...gulp...27 games in a row in the NBA...record?...I think so...and their next opponent?...Boston Celtics...egads, when do they play PDX?...

My FF team is in the playoffs and WON in round one...unfortunately, it is for 5th place...ah, the consolation title...HC Barney Fife informed me after the game, that he was entering the transfer portal...dude, that's the players who do that...

This Christmas threw me all off on my schedule...today seems to be my Tuesday...and the dart is gonna be thrown for our small town in the USA...ah ha, it landed on Zane, Utah...originally a little rail stop named for Zane Grey...the wild wild Wild West author...he traveled throughout the isolated regions of Southern Utah, using the settings in his novels...those who now populate the area, are 'preppers' , who live off the grid...subsist on their own powers...water, energy, and sanitation...known for protecting themselves, with a solid understanding of firearms...like, well, you know, just in case...what is truly intriguing, is that 'Zane has the blackest night skies, and the Milky Way and constellations are more vivid and the stars are bigger and shine more brilliantly'...for your info, Zane is north of Mesquite...appears to be some nasty roads between...

On my wish list...the return of variety shows on the pixels...who didn't watch the Ed Sullivan Show?...might the cost of having the stars show up is TOO MUCH?...I dunno, but I would lurve it...would you?...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
